Pendaflex Ready-Tab Extra Capacity Reinforced Hanging File Folders, Letter Size, Assorted Colors, 5 Tab, 20/BX (42700)

These don't fit my filing cabinet - I needed a few more to finish my filing project and assumed "letter-sized" hanging files would fit. They are too long and stick up and do not attach to the hanging bar. Also, the "label tabs" are so cheap, just paper that you pull out of the top, they will not last long. I'm now stuck with something that I can't use. Very disappointed in Pendaflex which USED to have great file folders.

Love these folders!1) they hang well;2) the cardboard for bottom reinforcement of the expansions fit perfectly; and,3) the tabbies on the top mean that there is no more juggling of those dang plastic things that held the label to the folder - and poorly at that.I will be ordering another box this week, and I expect the quality will be the same (thanks, Pendaflex!).Hope your day gives you more good than expected. Like the choice of using the pop-up tabs in whatever location I need them, or turn the folder around and use the regular clear plastic ones that fit into the slots. Your choice. Great reinforcing cardboard pieces to hold the bottom two inch width in place for all your documents.

I really like that these folders have a wider bottom. They are also very strong and have worked well to organize my homeschool materials in a filing cabinet. My only complaint is that on some of the folders I haven't been able to get the labeling tabs to pop up. Having multiple tabs that could be popped up was a selling feature for me , so I was sad when they didn't all work.

I purchased 2 boxes of these and didn't try them until I had used up my other file folders. Unfortunately it was past the time of returning them. They are completely worthless in my opinion. The tabs are not easy to write on, pens smear and markers bleed.

Basically a ruggedized Pendaflex(tm) hanging folder that opens up to 1" wide and has a flat bottom. A flat cardboard insert is supplied for each folder so you can keep perhaps 200 sheets together neatly. A low-cost solution, but less convenient to use than if the insert were permanently attached. Just fine for less-frequently used files. A tad awkward to set up, but I'll get better. A deluxe touch is that tabs are permanently attached to one edge of the folder, so you just slide up the one you want. They do not accommodate plain paper inserts, but I've been using printer labels for many years, so I prefer these. A sheet of labels is included.

I love these file folders! I like that there are different colors and options to make them all an inch in width or keep as they are. Its nice to have options depending what goes in them. I think the best thing about these are the pull out tabs! They are great to reuse and adjust at anytime.

These are great so far and the pull tabs are a nice feature. However, "expandable" means you need to use these in the expanded mode if they are to fit in any normal size file storage. Most file folders are 9" tall, these are 10" tall when not expanded so they do not hang properly in my storage container. I tried to find a taller storage container without any luck, so I'm surprised I haven't seen others with this issue. Will keep them for the really thick files but need to get others for normal files with less than 50 sheets of paper.

It is what it is, the folders are the right size and the colours are a little duller than advertised. It also comes with templated labels that you can print for tabs.My biggest complaint is that the package was not secured and was in horrible shape. There was some disgusting waxy mess on the bottom and it ruined some folders inside. Also, there was nothing to keep it from opening so all the folders in the package fell out and were crushed. It was delivered on a sunny day and the other items in my package were thankfully not so irresponsibly unwrapped, but this was godawful.Would not buy again.

The item I choose was supposed to be assorted colours but I was sent green. The folders are good quality except it’s just a thin piece of cardboard that holds the bottom extension.

Not as advertised. I was supposed to get a variety of assorted colours but instead I was sent all green so I returned them. Also they are too expensive, you'd think for the the amount you have to pay they would get it right.

good product for the price. They do fit my purpose.
