I liked this so much I use it in my entire house. The one benefit I never thought of is that the light source is now fully recessed into the can. This makes the light more focused and not as squinty.The other benefit is that I had some cans that were 5 inches and some that were 6 inches. When you install these retrofit kits they all looks the same - a much better look.The adjustable color is a real benefit. You can adjust the color to match other lights you have.These are brighter and work will all my dimmers. Actually, they work better with the dimmers than the standard bulbs - you get more range.

got them and immediately installed 5 in the kitchen to replace ones that were (Sunco ?? didn't look, don't think so) failing after many years. The bonus was that they used the same connector plug so I didn't have to do that step of unscrewing/screwing in the adapter. Works well. the only hick-up that I encountered was that one of the wires was not crimped correctly into the connector. Light was intermittent and then failed when the wire came out completely. put it back in the box, I think and by now, probably too long to return and get replaced. Not to worry, have more than I needed for the back porch and future. Good value overall!

So, I didn’t even know these things existed. I thought when your old can light went (or your wife wanted a new looking one), you had to rip it out and put in an entire new one. Which is a pain. Then I found these - genius. They literally are an all-in-one solution. You screw them in to your existing light socket and with the two spring clips (provided) you wedge the new can up in. From the layman’s eye - you just installed a new, fancy LED light. They turn on instantly (not like the original LED bulbs that had to light up), look great and we’ve already seen our power bill go down dramatically. Still yell at the kids about leaving their lights on in their rooms ... but that’s out of habit.Couple tips, and the genesis of my headline “darn close”. There are other versions of this product, one which we purchased at Home Depot from Commercial Electric. The Commercial Electric was slightly more expensive (it was on sale) but was definitely sturdier and allowed you to adjust the color of the light between 5 settings from Daylight down to Warm White. Note - the standard setting of the Sunco light was great for us ... so no need to adjust ... but if we wanted to there is no way to do so. Here’s the kicker you SHOULD READ - The Sunco comes with the clips I mentioned earlier. They work great for the cans that are essentially shaped like a paint can up in your ceiling. (Hopefully that description makes sense). We also had some older cans that were essentially like upside down bowls in the ceiling. So the first type of can goes into the ceiling deeper while the second is more shallow and or rounded. IF you have the first type of can - you’re all good with the Sunco. The clips will work just fine. If you have the second type of can - you should go with something like the Commercial Electric. It comes with a second type of clip that allows it to grip into the sides of the oval can and end up flush with the ceiling. The Sunco can get up in there ... but you won’t be able to get it fully flush with the ceiling.Summary - GREAT product, especially for the money. Unbelievably super easy installation. (Literally takes a couple min per light). If you want to adjust the light color ... go with Commercial Electric. If you have bowl shaped cans now that you plan on putting the Sunco into ... go with Commercial Electric. If neither of the two apply ... go with the Sunco product and never look back ... you’ll be happy!

It only took about a half hour to replace 10 light cans with these plug n play LED's. The lighting is much brighter and dimmable as long as you have a dimmer switch for your lighting already installed. Great value for the quantity of LED replacements.

Banished the icy whites! Swapped all my old LED recess lights for these beauties, and it's a total game-changer. Warm, dimmable lighting at my fingertips (goodbye, harsh overhead glare!). Installation was a breeze, even for a DIY newbie like me. Now, my home feels like a warm hug – and the ambiance is perfect for movie nights or cozy dinners. Highly recommend ditching the cold blues for these warm wonders!

These are perfect upgrades for dated ceiling lights. Easy installation, variety of light settings option. Great value

We moved into a home that has LED can lights; several of which had gone bad. Literally takes 30 seconds to replace the old with these. Have been very pleased with the quality of materials and construction, and the lighting and dimmer functions are spot on.

These totally transformed my basement. The existing lighting wasn’t as bright as I had hoped until I replaced the old lights with these. They really brightened things up but are not harsh to your eyes. The dimmable function works well too and is a nice option for the times you want to dim the lights down. Highly recommend buying these!

The media could not be loaded.  Fácil instalación, calidad excelente y buena iluminación en mi caso compre la de 4,000 k. Hasta ahora todo excelente.

Mounting arms had to be flipped as in ceiling mounting cans did not have the required cut outs to accomodate. Not the fault of the product but still a problem.
