I love the instant on feature. Just press the time that you normally use and it starts and turns off at the end of the time selected. To make it perfect, I would want it to stay lit and move the LED to the remaining time as it counts down, so as to give an indication of the time left. It is still a great timer and easier to use that the last timer that I had for about 15 years. The white color matches my wall plate well, unlike my last timer that was an off white.

I used this to run a bathroom fan. I've had this for nearly a year now and it works well. It replaced an old style one with no indicators at all (different brand), this old one eventually died after a year or so, I replaced it with the same one 3 times and finally figured out that it was slowly dying from moisture getting in, so I won't be using that brand anymore(different buttons would stop working so for example the 10minute button wouldn't work anymore so I used a different time until they all stopped). So far this one from Topgreener is working well. The only thing I wish it had was a digital display that shows how much time is left. Also I'm worried that the legend on each button may wear off eventually. I've installed 2 of these now and they both perform well.I did notice that once you press a time it does not stay lit so if you don't remember which one you pressed, you're out of luck, to me this is somewhat annoying but at least the basic function works.I do like that big "ON" button remembers the last timer setting, since I noticed that some of the ink on the most used times are starting to wear out. So I try to use the ON button instead. This could be improved by the manufacturer.I find that after a shower I need to run the fan for about 2 hours to get the bathroom completely dry in the winter (shorter in summer). So I'm glad I chose the model that can go up to 4 hours.Maybe in future I'll try to find one that fixes the 2 issues above (no time indicator, button markings wearing out) but for now I'm mostly happy with this.

Easy to install, works well, positive click on activation. Much simpler to not need a dedicated neutral wire. Having the insert-and-tighten ground wire connection is also easier than bending the wire around a grounding screw--more secure also. Takes 5 minutes to install with the breaker off. All vent fans should have a timer switch like this one.As with all of these, the button lights only initially; would prefer that it stays on for the duration so that you can see which button was pushed. But that is a minor quibble.

Should have listened to other reviewers. This is not the first time I've installed a switch. Followed directions. Since both my wires were black I reversed the Hot & Load wires just to make sure that wasn't the problem. Blue light flashes twice but fan does not go on. Put old switch back and works just fine.

Used it every day science I bought it and it does it job! Turns on when I set and turns off at the time I set it!
