They work
These worked great on a project I was working to replace a piece of metal on my tractors shredder. Seemed to weld better than the previous brand I was using.

Welds great
Easy to strike an arc, weld quality holds well on mild steel which is what I normally weld with. Has a brown coating that is just right. Bought the same rod from YES and it's not as good. I have used Hobart welding rod for years and this is still my favorite.

These are the perfect rods for what I do great for thinner metal I highly recommend them to anyone

Love 6013 rods - no stick - easy chip
Bought these for use with the ARCCAPTAIN 200A Stick Welder which I also bought on Amazon. They are much easier to use than the 7018 rods. The 1/8" 6013 rod is useful for both thin material and very thick steel. They don't stick when starting and they chip easily. I can weld any thickness metal from thin stuff to several inch thick metal. I found 70-75 Amps to be a good setting while running on 110V with thin steel and 85-95 Amps to be good for thicker steel with these rods.
