Ok, let's be real. There are no well made after market fog light kits for the vehicles these are made for. I have a 2003 Nissan Xterra. It isn't prewired for fog lamps so I needed a kit. This would be my third kit I've bought off of Amazon. All of them have cheaply made housings, all of them have unhelpful instructions. The first kit I tried failed after about 6 months. I can't remember what those ones were. The second kit was from Autosaver88. They lasted a whole 2 days. I installed these about a month ago and I'm going to go out on a limb and say these are the best of the cheap ones. Here is the reason. The wiring. On my previous two the wiring harness connected to the fuse box under the hood. Everything was installed there, the relay, the power etc. This wiring kit begins under the dash at the fuse box there. I like that the sensitive components are tucked away in a dry safe environment, easily services. And although the directions, like all the others, are confusing and worthless, at least these ones have indicators on the wires themselves as to where they should be connected too. So installation was a breeze. So far they have felt different than the others in operation and my hope is it lasts.Final analysis: These are the best of the cheap aftermarkets you can buy.
