THIS is the VERY BEST product and it WILL prevent your pump from becomimg clogged. A HUGE beneficial help in keeping my pond which is 36' X 15' with an 8 foot waterfall, clean and the water flowing very steadily. I have to clean it out maybe 2 times year! PERFECT. I also used filter media inside the bag, around the pump itself to also aid in keeping the water flowing MUCH MUCH longer before clogging. This is it ladies and gentlemen! You won't go wrong. VERY impressed. Than you!

I bought into a low wattage/power pump that moves "Just enough" water when its at full efficiency but if any leaves/crud got in through its filter it would slow down to a trickle quick. Shut everything down, cleaned out the pump, sat the pump inside this bag and dropped it back into my filter box and now its been a few weeks of running without any slow down at all and i'm happy. The material is a firm rubbery material that won't flex and then get sucked into your pump and its stiff enough to keep the gunk away - we're in pollen season now and this mesh bag keeps my pump running efficient.

Pretty stiff and was difficult to install in smaller skimmer. I highly recommend this product to keep your water pump from clogging up with leaves and debris. The stiffness of the material is a bonus to keep the material away from the intake , and keeps the water flowing. I have a second smaller pump with a soft net bag that can get some accumulation of leaves on the outside of the bag at the intake, and the result is to prevent the water from flowing In.

I purchased this filtration bag for my Pond Boss fountain thinking it was the cloth type bag I had previously purchased. Turns out it is a big heavy duty vinyl bag. Didn't think it would work out but I figured I would see how it fit. Turns out is is perfect. Once installed around the pump, it leaves enough room to keep vegetation and fish away from the pump intake. Should provide good filtration with less frequent cleaning needed. Great product. Highly recommend.

So it performs as promised, but $20 for a product that cost maybe 50 cents to make? Not soft, flexible. Hard plastic with holes bigger than expected. Will see. For the price was expecting something a little higher quality.

This product should be a requirement for anyone that uses a pump in a pond with fish or turtles. Literally has prevented any tragedy of getting sucked into the pump. Also helps keep pond foliage out of the intake of our pump. Definitely Worth the $ and easy to install Over your pump.

Be very careful. This is not a filter small enough to keep anything out of a typical pond pump. It says “Large Mesh”. It should say “huge mesh”.
