I purchased ring a ring sizer kit to be sure before ordering, 8.5 is supposed to fit perfectly, however was super tight to the point I had to use soap/water to get it off. I'm reordering a 9.5 and hoping for better luck with that size. I did-however, get the ring to work just fine! The thing to remember is the actual RFID reader isn't in the center of where you'd put the card, it's off-center a bit. In any case, once I found the magic spot it works great. Certainly well enough to use as a backup for my phone if it runs out of battery!I'll update the review once I get the replacement ring. Also, I'm planning on just returning through Amazon, so I'm not sure why I'd need to return to Georgia (like another reviewer said) rather than just dropping it off at a return location

I love, what it does. I only gave it a "3" on value for money chart because my iPhone and Apple Watch already do the same. But now I have the option of not having either with me and be able to get in and drive. My only other complaint is that my ring looks almost completely black. It is extremely hard to see any woodgrain like in the picture. It is named "Black Ebony", so I should have know. Oh well, I am colorblind so I do not care.

It actually works on my Tesla! It's a great comfort knowing I have a backup key right on my finger. Only 3 days in so let's see how it holds the test of time. The only mistake I made was to order a Size 6 which turned out to be too small but it fits on my pinkie. I also wish I ordered a different color.

Pairs fine and works to start car. Will not unlock door on 2021 model Y unless I remove the ring and place it flat against the pillar. Kind of defeats the purpose.Edit:. Ring has stopped working entirely to lock/unlock door. CNiCK is sending a replacement ring free of charge. Hopefully will have better luck.Edit2:. Got the replacement and have used it for a couple months. Seems to work fairly consistent to open the door with this one. Occasionally need to remove it and place it on the B pillar to get it to open. Still slightly more convenient then getting the card out of my wallet.

The last Tesla key ring I got cracked and shattered to pieces. I've worn this out in the ocean many times, it takes a pounding and still opens my car. I would buy this one again.

We ordered his & hers matching rings for our Tesla Y. One stopped working within one month. CNick refused to exchange. Fortunately, Amazon did a free exchange. The second ring lasted about 18 months, albeit in scratched worn condition. We will replace from a different manufacturer and never buy from CNick again.

I actually do not need the key fob. This thing is always on my little finger.
