Remote didn't work- Returned them.- UPDATE: SELLER MADE THINGS RIGHT.
Remote didn't work, out of the package. I even spent $5.99 for a replacement battery. But it didn't help. Had a few correspondence with Tiger Ideas (the seller), such as they offered to refund half the purchase amount. But if you expect to operate these candles by remote (because they will be placed in an area where access may be difficult, such as on a high shelf), a refund won't help. The "glow" on these candles look "semi-realistic". But since the remote doesn't work, I need to give only 1 star. I'll be returning it.Order/Product Update: After a number of correspondence back and forth, the seller replaced the faulty unit with a working one. In short, they stood behind their product, and made things right. Its too bad they don't have a QC department which catches defective units before they are shipped out. This was a bit of an inconvenience. But again... the seller made things right.

Great product and great value!
These are great, they were better than I expected. They are real wax. I wasn't even interested in the remote until it came in, then decided it is very useful. The settings are great, you can have one or both on and you can have them flicker to seem more like real candles.

Turns off with remote. Strangely, they won't power ON with the remote. They're beautiful and switch on manually without a problem. But it's less convenient than we'd hoped.
