I was in the process of returning these aerator shoes, as my 6.5 (women's) boots walked right out of these aerator shoes after 1-2 steps; no matter how tightly I tied them, or even using the "cross straps 3 & 4 for extra stability" tip I read (somewhere).I happened to reply to the seller's email, and within a day I had the magic:"Try to buckle x cross 1st strap with the 3rd, remove the 2nd strap completely, use the 4th strap normal"That worked perfectly for me! I spent a good 5 minutes plodding around my back yard. I've never been so geeked to cancel a product return!I'm using these with my Wolverine (steel toe) 6" work boots. Clipped strap #2 together, so the buckle would be under my boot. Strapped the others down, per instructions above, as tightly as I could. Plodded around the yard, happily aerating the lawn!Whee! It'll be even better, once I remove strap #2 :)

These aerator shoes worked great for me. I wear a size 7 and I followed the instructions in the user manual. It took me approximately 5 min to adjust the straps, once I got the hang of it, I had no problem using the strap system. I used the X Cross strap position recommended by the seller. The shoes worked great on dry soil, I tried it in an area that was really wet and they got full of mud between the nails. So, overall very good product, easy to use , can't wait to see my grass improvements !

I am not one to write reviews, in fact, this is only my second. As a guy who's bought at least a couple thousand dollars worth of Amazon products in each of the last several years, I have not been wowed enough, either positively or negatively, to write more than this and one other review (the other was negative feedback).I received the item I ordered on time and as described, with one minor exception. There are a total of four straps with each shoe, one per shoe is shipped in baggie and not pre-attached to the shoe. We tried to add it per the included instructions (very clear, by the way!) and quickly noticed it was missing the black plastic tension lock. This was true of both "extra" straps. I contacted the seller asking if we could get two tensions locks sent to us. The seller responded almost immediately, with sincere apology, and said that we'd receive a new product. I was elated when it arrived two days later. However, the replacement also was missing the two tension locks! I wrote back to the seller, who again apologized and said the supplier would be contacted immediately to resolve the issue. I was more than happy to help by sending pictures of both sets of shoes, something I'd normally not participate in. This seller is 100% stand-up, trustworthy, prompt, courteous, and professional. I will look for more things to buy from them! A big thanks!As for the product itself, it is top quality, easy to attach (with all the right pieces!), and my wife is using them daily. We live in a rural wooded area and have a few small clearings that somehow manage to grow some wild grasses through a vast mix of ground types including regular soft-ish soil, rocky soil, clay, and others. We don't have a lawn by any stretch of the imagination. Despite the varied and non-lawn-like terrain, these shoes work very well and are surprisingly stable to maneuver on.We're very happy with them, the seller, and the whole experience. It makes me think maybe there is still some good in the world.

I wear one at a time for better control. The work as intended and stay on your foot. Straps can be a little difficult at first, but once you have them set they stay set. Still waiting to see if they're effective, but so far so good.

Straps are strong and holds well, very easy to aerate my lawn for a better soil water uptake.I have tried few other products before, but this one works just awesome. I was able to aerate my whole backyard, because they stay fit on your shoes and don't slide. Plastic base is very solid and it doesn't brake or crack. You just have to cross the straps to better fit different shoe sizes as my girl wanted to try them too. Very easy to clean them after. Easy to use because they came already assembled, no hustle, just put them on and you're good to go. Great bargain, thank you.

This aerator shoes are different from the other aerators I saw selling online. I bought them because they look good quality and more resistant.I must say it took me 5-10 min to fit them but once it did it’s really easy to use them. Check the manual for better instructions and walk slowly.I pull one knee straight up and down again as if I am walking in deep snow. Once I got the hang of it, it was safe and quicker. The spikes look as good quality and this product has many spare parts so I recommend it!

Monumental waste of money and time. Used boots, followed instructions, I took a few steps and off they went.Tried again attaching the shoes as tightly as possible, with the same result.Reminds me of the roller skates from the 1960's, which you attached to your shoes with a strap and a key tightened clamp.No good!. The only way to have a product such as this that would actually work, would be what the roller skate makers did.Fabricate an actual lace up boot with the spikes incorporated into the rubber sole.The GoPPas are now in the trash can

They are bigger than my feet, but work fine.The best part about them is that it is a workout using them. You will work up a sweat using these shoes. I only did about half the yard then I took a break.There are other cheaper aerator shoes out there but I bought these because this new strap system helps me a lot. After the break, I continued without needing any strap adjustments. I only closed the metal buckles and I was ready to go again.My boy tried them to. He was so funny with them.They are worth the money.
