Q: Is the size chart accurate? The waist for a size 4xl says 22inches. I don’t know anyone who wear a 4x with a 22inch waist. Does the waist stretch?

These are measurements taken laid flat which means you would double the waist measurement making it more like a 44 waist.

Q: Does this item stay out around the thighs and crotch area? I work in a warehouse and need something that will stay up on my thighs and bikini area

Yes they do. They are thin, so you'll be able to see a panty line in the colored ones. But they don't ride up in all my areas . I'll be buying more for the all black

Q: How does sizing work? Do i double the inches or something??

Go according to your pants size I usual wear XXL BUT I bought XL Only because I wanted them a little tighter so I can wear under my dresses. There’s a pic with the size indicator. XXL (2XL) I believe is size 20-22 XL is 16-18 Or you can measure yourself to get a more accurate size I would go by the size you wear And if you want buy your normal size and buy one size smaller

Q: I am 235lbs would a xxl fit me, or should i go with 3xl

I bought 2xl, and am almost 250. They fit snug, but right size. They are supposed to be snug, as biker shorts. They're very stretchy. I think 2x should work good for you.
