Historic Haunts of the South 3

Purchased at Colonial Williamsburg. I love this subject, so was excited to see this book and the next two in the series when I visited Colonial Williamsburg. The subject matter is interesting and I do like the personal experiences that are included. However, there are so many grammatical errors it’s excruciating to read! At least two (sometimes more) on every single page! Here’s my favorite from page 13: “We continued to ask questions and were able to determine…that the spirit affecting the equipment was a little boy who 5 years old was.”Here’s an offer: give me an advance copy and I’ll proofread future books free.

Just finished reading this book last night, and can't wait to start reading the next in the series...Historic Haunts of the South III. Ms. Pearce is a professional paranormal investigator, and this book continues as you go along with her on some of her investigations. Well written, with interesting historical facts included in each case, this is a book well worth reading for those interested in the subject, and for those who love ghost stories.

After reading her two books on the historic haunts of Florida, I couldn't wait to read this book, and I wasn't disappointed! Ms. Pearce takes us further into the Southern States and shares her haunting experiences. She also shares interesting historical facts about each location and situation, which is a nice bonus. The author is a professional paranormal investigator, which makes her books a must-read for anyone interested in the subject.

This series is fabulous. Written by a Parapsychologist who has investigated many of the locations is a great view point.
