5 star for the lock mechanism! DO NOT USE SUPPLIED HARDWARE, IT WILL SNAP. Get good hardware and it'll be huge protection.

Nice lock
Super easy to install, looks good, and seems to be effective.

Quick to install, rock solid.
When we built a "safe room" in our house, we used a couple of these and a crossbar to make a nearly impenetrable door. The door will come off its hinges before one of these breaks. Highly recommended.

Feels like a cheaper knock off product
It’s cheaper, but it’s a knock off version of the one I had from Home Depot 10 years ago.The included screws are very weak. I predrilled into my wood frame to prevent cracking. One screw the head came off, the second broke and the third included screw head stripped. Very soft metal.I replaced those screws with some construction ones I had. Although the issue is resolved, I’m worried about the overall quality of the lock now from this experience.
