NGK (8916) RC-TE58 Spark Plug Wire Set

Vehicle model: 2000 Toyota Camry LE 4 Cylinder 2.2L (5S-FE Engine) Mileage: 350k+ I recently installed the NGK (8916) RC-TE58 Spark Plug Wire Set in my vehicle, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! This product definitely feels a lot better quality-wise than the OEM wires. Took maybe 10min to replace, just replacing one at a time to make sure connection is in the right spot. My sister-in-law's 2001 Camry recently had engine codes for evap system and random misfires. Replaced EGR system and spark plugs and would still sometimes get a misfire and would idle rough in reverse. Finally ordered these spark plug wires and it runs the best since she bought it 2 years ago! Noticed a huge difference is how the car ran after installing these during an oil change and my sister-in-law even noticed a huge difference and she doesn't notice much when it comes to cars. Also the exact set of wires cost $54.99 at the auto parts store so this is a great deal!

These fit perfectly and were easy to install. Fixed the misfiring problem I was experiencing.

I received my NGK Wireset as shown in the photos. The brown paper packing crushed the package somewhat, also when i opened the wireset It looked as if it had already been used! Im hoping that it is just how all wires look out of the package, somewhat dusty, (with a white-ish powder on the wires). However they work fine. I was worried about the functionality of the Wires when i tried to plug in a incompatible (possibly fits i didnt want to force it and break new wires) Champion spark plug into it, and it didnt fit. I added the 7092 NGK. and it clicked right in. Its a different type of noise for the clicking compared to oem, so just compare the two to make sure it is infact secure and making connection. This is pretty long winded for a Spark plug wire review, but i want to make sure it is all out in the open how i have seen it and how i opened it, hence i added the photo. My car is a 2000 Toyota Rav4 2WD Automatic W/O Distributor, and this was simply plug and play for my vehicle. I had a p304 and p300 i believe for a random misfire, and a cylinder 4 misfire. I pulled out my #4 spark plug and there was oil on the threads of the old plug, and compared to all the other plugs, this one was alot more oily.. I then thought to the first few causes, Leaky valve cover, spark plug boot gasket, but based on where the oil was, (the threads) I was thinking it might be something more in depth, (piston rings, valves, etc) but i put the new NGK 7092 Plugs in, and just to test, i screwed in the plug hand tight in #4 cylinder, then removed it to check the oil. I saw a bit of oil on the threads already so this is a good indicator a tad bit of oil is getting inside #4 cylinder. This bit of detail aside, i installed all 4 wires and plugs to my engine, and now it runs like a clock! no stuttery misfire on idle or on drive. it drives like a new car! I have yet to use it long term so i can't say anything about that yet. I will update my review following this.

These are specific to my car and fit perfectly. Very good quality with sealant at each joint where the wires go into the boot.

Seems to be good product on my 1998 Camry. One of the wires was a tight fit on the last spark plug and that's why the four stars. Engine has more pep now then before

I have a good old 4 cylinder 2000 Camry that started feeling very heavy on acceleration, getting about 19 mpg, the exhaust was smelling rich and various engine codes were popping up. I replaced the spark plugs with denso plugs from Toyota and originally tried Denso wires, but they didn’t fit, too long, and the wires were too thin, they were way too loose in the separaters. So I took them back. With just the new plugs I was getting better mileage but the engine was still feeling heavy. So then I went with the NGK wire set and its like a brand new car, problems gone, and the wires fit perfectly. On testing them out I almost rear ended a car in front of me while taking off at a green light, way better acceleration. I also use a CB radio in the car and I can drive with the noise limiter off now, no more ignition popping in the radio. I tested the old wires… 1@ 5k ohms, 2@ 250k ohms, 1@ infinity.

The ignition leads arrived in good time , UK to New Zealand in two weeks . I installed them straight away , they are an exact fit on my Australian assembled 1998 Toyota Camry 2.2 liter 5sfe . Function is excellent , the car is running very nicely now . I am sure that these NGK leads are the best quality available . Thank you to the seller for making it all happen .

Highly recommended, great wires better than the original ones, they have more power and last longer.
