DuaFire Microphone Stand, Swivel Mount Studio Boom Arm for Radio, Broadcast, Studio and Home Use

The media could not be loaded.  Professional Studio Boom Arm (Black)Ordered this because it looks like the Rode PSA1 for $50 less. The arm arrived and felt sturdy, I attached the AT2020 with a shock mount and plugged in the XLR. Even with all that weight the arm would not stay in place, it would spring up the second I let go of it. It also made an awful squeaking sound because the springs inside were rusted.Edit: Since the first one I received may have been defective, I reordered it and the new one was still very squeaky so I ended up returning it to get something better.

I was looking for a more affordable alternative to the Rode PSA1 that would be sturdy enough for my Blue Yeti. I wasn't willing to try one of the cheap $20 stands that likely are not strong enough for the Yeti so I went ahead and bought this one. It works perfectly with my Yeti. It is very sturdy and well build, the mount is simple enough and holds onto my desk just fine. I can adjust it to whatever position and the stand keeps my microphone there unless I move it. Definitely a sweet spot between quality and price.

not quite as good as the rode psa1 but it is a great alternative. it is bigger, giving you a longer reach.gave it a 4 star instead of 5 because i wish it allowed for easier spinning for the mic itself. it still spins, just not as smooth as it could.either way, great buy

This is the best broadcast arm that I own, I've owned units of the exact same type that cost 3x as much and offer nothing above what this unit does. Good solid/strong construction, well made, easy to use.I highly recommend this and even recommend it over broadcast arms costing much more. I would gladly have paid double for it.

Of course it broke 3 days after the return window. I generally liked this stand when it worked but it broke under LIGHT use just over a month. I stream 2 nights a week, and when I went to position it for my latest stream the second hinge broke, tumbling my AT2020 to my desk with a crash.

It was bent on delivery. Managed to bend it back but without any elbow tightening nuts it's nearly impossible to get your mic set where you want it. I have a 10 dollar scissor stand that works better than this one.

Arm broke

Silver mounting screw's securing knob loosens up if you move it too much, but otherwise it's a great stand.
