I loved these shoes straight out of the box! I'm undergoing lymphadema treatment on my legs (progressive compression, basically) and needed a shoe that was lightweight, wide enough to accommodate my wide-width feet, and I had to have the ability to adjust the sizing by tightening or loosening them. These have great, structured sides to "hold in" your feet, the elastic laces are perfect and easy to adjust, and they are padded for a soft feel on the bottoms of your feet. They also have thicker areas around the toes and heels for added foot protection...not that I plan to use them in the water, but ya never know... PLUS I got the funky lime green, turquoise, yellow, black color, and everyone comments on them and asks where I got them. Super fugly-cute, comfortable, cushioned, lightweight and functional. Definitely recommend these for go-everywhere shoes. The people at my gym love them, and so do I.!

My feet no longer enjoy sand and terrain on the beach. This summer I had chafing and burns from hot, coarse sand in my sandals. I pair these water shoes with sand/beach volleyball socks and it works perfect. This suffices for “shoes” for long walks on the beach or sloshing in the waves. The socks keep the sand out while the water shoes let the water flow through. Alternatively, I wear these without socks for swimming and poolside. They serve great as sandal alternatives. I wear a ladies shoe size 8.Consequently, 8 also works perfect in these water shoes. They are roomy (if you need to add socks) but the Velcro strap on the heel makes them adjustable too. They are comfortable and versatile enough to wear around town also.

These are good for the price but not great for hikes. Pretty colors! Easy on and off. The fabric inside is little rough on the top of my pinky toe. On my boat day. They were great but I wore mine with socks for a long day trip and that made them very comfortable but obviously water shoes shouldn’t be worn with socks. Hahah. Short walks on rocks, boats, tide pools, ect would be good. Nice traction. Hikes…. Wear socks and take them off when it’s time to get wet. I kept my socks on and my feet were fine. Just a little soggy when I got home. It was a super rainy day in Cozumel and we walked a lot. So. I am glad I bought them. I just like a more sturdy “double as a hiking shoe” water shoe but those are three times the price.

I obviously love these sandals enough to have purchased 4 pair! BUT...in Feb. 2024, I purchased the black in size 10. Amazon's website showed the size 10 black were available, and it allowed me to order them. Received the package and they were a size 11. I figured it was just a mistake, so I did the replacement option. The replacements came and again, they sent me a size 11. I returned the second pair...again. I ordered the size 10 black again, figuring they had just been training people or something silly, and the THIRD PAIR arrived in...YEP...you guessed it...SIZE 11!!!! That's when I knew something was wrong. I contacted customer service and asked them what the problem was. They were very apologetic and put me on hold to research the problem. She came back to tell me the manufacturer was having a problem getting that size.So, let me get this straight. The manufacturer KNOWS they don't have that color in size 10...yet they're allowing people to purchase the size 10, and then Amazon INTENTIONALLY sends the WRONG SIZE to fulfill the order?!? What kind of whackadoodle thought process is that?!? Now my money is TIED UP in the refund process...TWICE!!!Amazon shouldn't be allowed to send the WRONG ITEM intentionally! It should be an automatic cancellation of the order when the correct item is not available! What you're doing is akin to 'bait and switch'...which is ILLEGAL!!! It's really too bad because these are some of the most comfortable sandals I've ever owned! (...and I really wanted the black ones) Bummer!!!Original post:These are very comfortable, love the insole! I’m a consistent woman’s size 10 so that’s what I ordered. When I received them, the bag said “11 women” and I had noticed at checkout that the item said two different women’s sizes. They fit like a size 12. So I returned them and ordered an 8.5 and when those arrived, the bag says “9 womens” and they fit perfectly. This seller needs to fix their size listings. The actual “8.5” shoe itself says size 40, which is a women’s 10.The shoes themselves are cute, very lightweight, and seem like they’ll be comfy. They are a tad wide so should fit a variety of foot shapes.

I bought them specifically for wearing in my kayak. They get wet, wash off, and dry great! Very light weight. I call them my clown shoes because the colors are quite vibrant and the wide toe box. But even my flat feet love them.Walking and even up and down hills they have great traction. I even swim in them and they stay on just fine. Love the closed toe box so when I’m in the water no scraping of toes on rocks. Seem to be holding up just fine.

Iwould not give any stars if that was an option. I got these shoes because I was going on a cruise and one of the ports was going to be very rocky. I wore the shoes several times for short periods after receiving them to help break them in. Each time they made my feet hurt but I thought it was just breaking in new shoes. We went on our cruise and I wore these shoes for the day. The shoes act like shovels in the sand and do not let the sand back or off them. They rubbed blisters on my feet (see pictures) even though they were the correct size. I ended up walking bare foot on hot cement because it felt better on my feet than these shoes. Sadly I was outside my return window. So wasted my money. I bought my husband a pair too and they hurt him so bad he walked barefoot on the rocks. Don't buy these shoes. No arch support, they tap sand, and they rub your feet no matter the size. There are better water shoes on the market. These are hitting the trash.
