PACAOEM-GM24 Interface to Allow the Addition of an Amplifier in Select 2004-up GM Vehicles with a Factory Amplified Bose Sound System

I was told by aPAC that this item will not work with my truck. I have the factory non-Lux BOSE system. This plugs directly into the main wire harness. I spliced the blue/white remote amp wire into the pink B3 wire of the factory harness as this is the 12v source that turns off the radio when the key is removed from the ignition and the door is opened. The adjustable output gains are nice for if your amp does not come with any. Routed wire harnesses to the right, behind the pass. air bag switch and mounted with velcro to the inside of the dash in case of need for removal to adjust output settings.

Works great in 2004 Tahoe with bose and onstar. FYI it plugs right into back of radio! Wish someone told me cause I wasted time looking behind glove box and under center console first! But nope it goes right behind the radio plugging directly into it's factory port! So happy I got bass setup again!

you're better off buying just a simple wire harness so you can connect to the head unit and then splice your wires directly into the wire harness. Literally didn't use 3/4 of this thing and my system works great.
