High level of filtration efficiency
As a customer who has used the PressToCheck P3 Dust Filters - Set of 2 (JSP BMN990-001-700), here is a review outlining the good and bad aspects of this product:The good:1. Excellent filtration: The P3 dust filters provide a high level of filtration efficiency, capturing particles and dust down to 0.3 microns in size. This makes them highly effective in protecting against various airborne contaminants, including dust, pollen, and mold spores.2. PressToCheck feature: The unique PressToCheck feature allows for a quick and easy fit check before use. By pressing the filters against the face, the wearer can ensure a secure seal, maximizing the effectiveness of the respirator.3. Comfortable fit: The filters are designed to fit securely and comfortably on the respirator, providing a snug and reliable seal. This ensures that the user can breathe easily without compromising on protection.4. Durable construction: The filters are made from high-quality materials, making them durable and long-lasting. They can withstand demanding work environments and continue to provide effective filtration. The bad:1. Specific compatibility: The PressToCheck P3 Dust Filters are designed to fit specific respirator models from the same manufacturer. This means they may not be compatible with all types of respirators, limiting their versatility.2. Limited usage time: Like all disposable filters, these filters have a limited usage time. Depending on the level of exposure and contaminants, they need to be replaced regularly to maintain their effectiveness, which can result in ongoing costs.3. Availability and pricing: Availability of these filters may vary, and they might be priced higher than standard disposable filters due to their advanced features.Overall, the PressToCheck P3 Dust Filters (JSP BMN990-001-700) offer exceptional filtration performance and a convenient PressToCheck feature for ensuring a secure fit. However, their specific compatibility, limited usage time, and potentially higher pricing are factors to consider when choosing the right filters for your respirator.

Perfecto

I’ve been using these for years, I have the force 8 half mask but they are also compatible with the the force 10 mask.Firstly JSP is a brand you can trust for PPE.These work out as good value and provide much better protection than disposable masks. The push to check feature allows you to be confident that the mask is fitted correctly. There are other filter types available in this range. These are P3 which is dust only. I sometimes use the ABEK1P3 when I need protection from Vapor’s as well. These last a fairly long time, that time depends on the environment you use them in, but as a full time electrician I tend to replace monthly.Occasionally I’ve managed to snap the cover off of them but that’s probably my fault. These are the best filter masks, they don’t offer quite as much protection as the powered respirators, I have one of those as well but tend to just use these as they are less hassle and easier to carry around.
