Good audio switch
This is just a basic audio switch, without amplification or mixing, nothing fancy. I have it set up so that the side with 2 connections is used for output, the phono plugs going out to the speakers, the 3.5 mm socket used for headphones, so it is easy to switch between the two.The four connections on the other side are for inputs, such as PC, phone, etc., all 3.5 mm sockets, with a rotating switch on top that allows me to select the input. It also has a rotating volume control, but it does not make much difference. I know it will not amplify, but turning it down should really make more of a difference when I want to adjust the volume.Overall, seems well made and a good product without any hissing or interference, the sound quality is perfectly okay.

It just works. Case closed
Currently using it to switch audio between three different computers and a single speaker. Works fine and without any noise.

Works fine, but much smaller than expected !
Works fine, but having looked at the various images of the product from various sellers, it's much smaller than i had expected, which is fine as a portable device, but for my intended use at home, it would've been nice if 50% bigger, heavier,so i will have to use some double-sided adhesive pads to stop it moving around on my shelf. Some product descriptions give the size of the box it arrives in,not the actual product,so you don't always know until it arrives .

Does a great job, just what I needed.
I use mine to input a number of sources into a mixer. Saves a lot of cable swapping etc. I can't detect any noise or hiss from it when in use, so a good item.

[updated] it works now! (Originally sorry not working)
Edited review:I thought I’d double check that this was indeed faulty just before packaging it up to return. I am not sure why it wasn’t working before, but now it works as expected, maybe there is a loose connection in the supplied cable.Anyway it now works and there is no noise even when switching between outputs and inputs. I’ve ordered a better quality mini Jack cable as the one supplied is not that good. I’d suggest to the manufacturer that they change the cable they supply.Original review: Maybe I was unfortunate to get a defective one - but it it not work at all

Solid Unit, Well Made, Noiseless Switching, Great Flexibility, Good Value
Supplied in a small unbranded cardboard box which contained just the UNSTINCER Audio Switcher, a 3.5mm to 3..5mm cable and an instruction manual. The switcher itself is a small unit, just 78 x 56 x 25mm on the top it has a 4 position switching knob labelled A-D and a volume control, there are also labels for the input/outputs and smaller toggle switch, all of these reside on the long sides of the unit. On the 4 input/output side you have 4 x 3.5mm sockets and on the two input/output side you have a phono pair of sockets and a 3.5mm socket along with the small toggle switch. The switcher allows for 4 incoming 2 outgoing or 2 incoming 4 outgoing connections, the latter in my case being utilised for my hobby which is listening to music, but a lot of the time comparing headphones. I have 6 pairs of headphones ranging from budget to mid-priced and the same with IEMs – I like to play tracks and compare headphones to see what signature they have and where the strengths and weaknesses are in the presentation from the devices. This device allows me to have two sources, one a DAC and one an analogue amplifier which I sometimes swap out for my phone, and 4 sets of headphones at any one time and I can switch between them all at will.In use it works as stated, the switch between the output side – in my case the headphones, means a quick headphone swap and top switch and I have another set top listen to and compare. I can switch the small jumper switch at the side between the two input sources which can have completely different types of music playing – rock and classical or pop, whatever I need. The flexibility of this little device is brilliant. I have used this extensively for a month and I have not heard it crackle or make a noise of any kind when switching, indeed I have tried it in silent mode and cannot discern any noise at all from this unit, its silence is golden you might say. All round winner for me, very impressed with this and if you have a similar use case just buy it, I don’t think you would be disappointed for under £19.
