Rubie's Black Cream Makeup, 0.7oz

The cream is a little runnier than I expected. I was applying it with a makeup brush and had to wait awhile between layers to avoid just washing it off with the new layer. But once on it was on BLACK and for the whole night without fading or cracking!

Bought for accents to my Beetlejuice facepaint for a Tim Burton themed party. Easy on, easy off. It applied well to my latex mask and washed off easily. Takes a couple layers of makeup to get the true color. Comes off easily onto anything, including hands, clothes, whatever touches it. Careful not to french too many ladies with this stuff on or you'll be corpse twins in no time...but if that's your thing, more power to ya.

This product is okay. I probably will buy it again, but it smears VERY easily. Once it's dry it's okay (sort of), but when it's just put on or a little wet and you accidentally touch it, look forward to restarting. Also another negative is that when it dries you will most likely see that you'll have to do another layer... or three. But I do like how it has a lot of it so I can put multiple layers without worrying about running out.

Just bought a few days ago and shipped fast also good pigment but I did have to put on 2 layers to get it to be really pigmented but overall good product

I thought that since this was so cheap that it wouldn't work well. This actually worked great. You barely even need to use any and it will cover a lot. It comes off easy, dries pretty quickly and looks nice. It's a shiny black, not like a flat black, also. Only thing that sucked was it took a while to ship lol so order well before you need it. Overall, I am satisfied with the product.

Took about 4 layers to get it to be black enough. Took 3 sweeps of matte black eye shadow to get it to set (that's 2 too many!). It could be better, but it held up all halloween night (roughly 5 hours) so it's workable. Doesn't irritate, doesn't smudge (so long as you set it), and easy to remove. Not bad, but not amazing either.

My drama team at church is doing a blacklight, and we use this to black out their faces more. We had the same thing last year, and it worked fine. Price is right for a church on budget, too.

Great coverage stays on until it washes off ! I used something like this a few years ago and was very pleased with it then I forgot where I bought it let alone the name of the product .

As expected

I've always been a fan of the Rubies cream makeup, as the water based cake makeups always dry out my skin. These, however, go on very nicely when applied with a brush, and my skin remains its usual self. If you have sensitive skin, this is the face paint of choice.

This product arrived with cream all dry and crusty and the actual tube open at the seam within the package. 0 stars.
