Used these to repair my shoes that had a hole from rubbing up against each other during my runs. They worked great and have easily extended the life of my shoes.

Self adhesive is something I took to heart, LOL! They work well, after a day of them patching the hole in my brand new high top vans that ripped the minute they caught my bicycle pedal which I've never seen in my life I think there's something about black leather that makes it little weaker like tissue paper. So hopefully, I will get that refund back. But my trick that seems to work pretty awesome is some contact cement underneath the patch, and quite a bit too, put a nice layer that won't overlap. I added another patch on top of that and I can already feel it's really tough. So it's a really good item, but honestly spend a little money on some contact cement which is a household item for me, and you're good to go!

good, really liked the idea of this product but the adhesion is not quite there. patched several pairs of shoes but the patches didnt hold up to the next hike. had to improvise with some shoe-goo to really get the patches to stick.

i put these on both leather and canvas ballet slippers on the inside where the big toe nail rubs the ballet slipper , as it usually creates a hole there the fastest , and this little patch significantly prolongs the life of both my ballet slippers ( both feet) . so I'm very happy with them. they are easy to put on. and they stay put though vogorous ballet foot work for many many classes. they have not come off yet... I have not put them though a wash... so can't say if they survive the wash...

I have a big prominent toe that pops through my on gym shoes. This easily fixes the hole so it isn't apparent or visible. A+++

Got these for my daughter who bought some Nike high tops. Due to a surgery she had to wear them all the time. The sole lasted great on the shoe, but the fabric in the back heel didn't. These were the perfect solution. She did have a little adhesion issue with one of her shoes ...so we tried another patch and it worked fine. I'd love to give it a five star for adhesive, but the first one she tried only lasted a week. The second is still going strong so it may have just been a lemon in the pack.
