These screen savers are great! We bought both the front and back seat at the same time. After installation, you can't even really tell that it is there except that the screen is not shiny anymore. So far, the functionality of the screen does not seem to be affected. The glass is a silky soft, matte finish that really cuts the glare, which is not so much a factor in the back seat but in the front seat it really made a difference. Installation was a snap, especially with the plastic frame in the front and the included tools really helped with bubble removal. We did not have any problems with dust particles because we had kept the factory plastic on them, so we just removed the factory plastic, gave it a quick wipe and installed the screensavers. We did both of them in less than an hour. We sometimes haul lumber inside the car and were worried about one of the screens taking a hit so we just went ahead and made the investment now. Better safe than sorry. Highly recommended!

I did not purchase this screen protector to protect my screen from scratches, but rather to cut down on the glare and reduce fingerprints. I have PIN to drive enabled so my screen would quickly get covered with fingerprints. To install, I cleaned my screen, turned off HVAC in the car (figured this would cut down on dust circulation), cleaned the screen again, and then followed the installation instructions. The frame is nice - it makes installation quick and easy. I can't imagine being able to properly line up something this big without the use of the frame. After removing the frame I found that there were A TON of bubbles behind the protector, which took quite a while to push out but I did eventually get them all. Unfortunately despite all my prep efforts I still ended up with a tiny speck of something between the protector and the screen, on the right edge just before the screen turns from display to black border. I probably could have let this go and nobody except me would ever notice it, but it really bothered me. A quick Google suggested I could peel up the protector and use a dust sticker against the back of the protector to grab whatever was stuck there. I gave it a shot, using the sticker against both the protector and the screen, being careful not to touch the screen or protector with my finger. Initially it looked like I had actually made things worse because it kind of smudged the adhesive behind the protector, but after smoothing it out again with the provided squeegee, everything looks great and no more tiny bubble! I doubt this would have worked if the speck was further from the edge, but it's worth a shot if you've got one close. So remember, it is very important to spend a lot of time cleaning and checking the screen beforehand, because it is huge and you can easily miss the smallest speck that will lead to a permanent bubble! Now that the protector is on and the bubbles are all worked out, I love it. My finger glides over the screen much more smoothly than before, no glare, and ZERO FINGERPRINTS! As expected there is a very slight reduction in clarity but it won't be an issue. I just increased the brightness a bit and it looks great.

I've installed a lot of screen protectors on various thing and this one was be far the easiest to install with its included alignment tool. I Got the matt finish one and it is very easy to see without the glair.

It wasn't any better than the other generic screen protectors on amazon. The install was easy enough but I was hoping that the quality would match the increased price. I wouldn't say its worth the price compared to the generics. If you're looking go ahead and purchase any of the matte screen protectors they're all likely the same source with different application methods.

I really like the screen protector and the matte finish. I read many negative reviews about installation or visibility issues but I’ve had none of that. The installation is super easy but you have to follow the directions to ensure your screen is perfectly clean. If it isn’t well then of course you’ll get bubbles or issues. Once I cleaned the screen through multiple steps, following the instructions, the install was done in about a minute - super easy. The matte finish does take some of the “crispness” from the screen but that is kind of the point - on the positive it doesn’t leave fingerprints, doesn’t glare, and has smooth finish to the touch. Anyway, all that to say that I don’t get the negative reviews - people can’t follow install instructions.

Way too thick and very dull finish like a cheap piece of plexiglass. It’s not like you’re going to drop this. It’s attached to the dash! Directions and video show removal of one layer of backing but there are multiple. Frame works great for centering after spending a bunch of time preparing to make sure there is no dust on the screen only to find its a complete waste of time since there are multiple layers of plastic you need to remove from behind and in front of the actual screen protector. Don’t waste your time. Also, when you finally get the multiple layers off the back it’s not very sticky and it’s prone to large air pockets as others have stated.

Tenía miedo a la instalación, pero el kit de montaje y preparación previa es perfecto, imposible ponerlo mal, eso si, haced una buena limpieza, se me quedó una mota y provocó una burbuja, la quité y perfecto, ya no hay molestos reflejos y no se generan huellas al pulsar, tampoco quita excesivo brillo y se ve muy bien de noche.

Easy installation and perfect fit for 2023 Model S

Couple years now with this on and I’ve never once been conscious of it in a bad way. It’s one with the car. So easy to apply. Feels much nicer in skin to touch the screen. Matte helps drastically reduce (not fully eliminate) glare. Can still collect dust but feels easier to clean. Side angle viewing not affected at all. A must for front and even rear seats. Any nervousness for scratches has evaporated.
