JJC Ricoh GRIIIx GR IIIx GR3x Lens Decoration Ring Cap Accessories Replaces Ricoh GN-2 Ring Cap-Red

Looks nice, and sort of fits, but it's not nearly as secure as the original ring from Ricoh.

I used a green JJC ring for my GRIII for a couple of years and liked the look a lot. I ordered the same for the GR IIIx but I found to my surprise that it doesn't have the same look and feel. The IIIx ring is a little larger or deeper, meaning that the pop of color you get is quite a bit more substantial than it was on the III. For me, the green ring was a little overpowering and not quite the look I wanted. Additionally, mine was a little loose - not like it was going to fall off, but just a bit of a sloppy fit with a lot of wobble in and out. I think that may be a one-off, as all of the JJC stuff I have used up till not has had really nice fit and finish. But for some reason the official Ricoh rings fit a lot more securely than this one on the IIIx.

Ring looks nice on my gr iiix but fits kinda loose and doesn't "lock in" as well as the original. Comes off fairly easily.

Expensive for what it is

The ring does not fit on the GRIII.
