I live way down here in hot Florida. Protecting your skin and lips is very important. Now, this balm does not contain SPF so best not to rely on it for that. I spend a lot of my time inside out of comfort but A/C and heat from central units in the home is drying. I love this balm- it's not sticky but does leave a soothing, light layer of moisture and a really awesome smell. I use other Dr.Bronner's products and peppermint has always been my favorite. When I found this balm by Dr. Bronners in this flavor- I was elated. Quality, reliable products that have so many uses it's incredible!! After I learned of these products atleast 20 years ago, I've been confident of their performance for body and everything else in the world you can image!!

I love this lip balm. It's well priced and has a small, clean ingredients list. It's very moisturizing. I love the peppermint but the unscented is great too if you don't like the minty taste/feel.
