Remember folks this Yangcsi lamp uses only 10 watts! You shouldn't expect an overwhelming amount of light. What you can expect is to get great colors and good accent lighting for landscaping, pathways or general ambient and color splash lighting. I installed mine spaced about 10 feet apart on fence posts 4 feet from the ground pointed downwards. My courtyard looks amazing! And I can change he color whenever I wish. The purple is my favorite but the aqua blue looks good too. When the kids are out there playing in the dark I set them to the warm white setting and they have plenty of light.These light fixtures have met my expectations and if anything negative arises, I'll update this review.I expect to get 4-5 years of everyday use.

These little lights are pretty fantastic. The white is a real LED; its better than white being "generated" by RGB. This 10w bulb is about a 60w incandescent equivalent. It's perfect for lighting displays. The only thing I wish it had is barn doors to direct light, but I'm sure I could DIY something out of foamcore if I needed it.

The light itself is great. It offers 16 different colors and white. The colors are all different. It also offers flash, strobe, fade and smooth color changing. You can also choose to leave it on. It easily lights a white clapboard wall 8'w x 15'high when placed just about 3' away. It can be set at a wide variety of angles. The bracket can be screwed in place. They are also light enough to set on the bushes. The light is about 4.5" square and 1.5" thick so it can be easily hidden from the eye. It offers a 4.5' cord. Placement of the light would be much easier if the cord were longer, rather than using extension cords. The biggest downfall to this light it the timer feature. There are two timer Buttons on the remote. One button is for circular timing which, apparently is so you can she how many hours and when the light is on and regular timing which sets the required numbers of hour to turn off the light. However there are absolutely no directions how to set the timers. The lights seem to need to be manually turned on and off. I have tried many different ways of trying to use theses timing features with no avail. In addition the lights do need to be replaced every few months but in my opinion it is worth it because they look great.

After only a few months of lighting a tree, condensation formed inside glass and then went dead the next month. It was not near any body of water but it did get rain and irrigation sprinkles. I'd only recommend indoor use.

My biggest issue is these lights come on when AC power is first applied. This was a big problem for me when I lost power and then the power returned, particularly if I am away from home. That means the lights stayed on for days until I noticed them being on, and had to run outside to turn them off. My second issue is the remote control has to be very near (6 feet in front?) in order to control the lights.

The price is right and they are very bright!
