Product worked great. Like the fact that the cement has a dauber for spreading, so you don’t have to worry about it shedding like some horse hair brushes do. Comes with lots a vinyl repair material.

One of our Golden Retrievers decided to not use the exit ramp and tried to climb out by crawling up the side.... Big tear. We lowered the water level below the tear, let it dry for a day, applied this patch per instructions. But I'm kind of neurotic about having to do things twice so after the patch was set I took a piece of the brand " Flex Tape" clear over the patch. I'm happy, tear is sealed, used pool all summer with no problems. I believe this is a permanent fix but is it doesn't hold up after winter I will update. Check beginning of June 2026. If there is no update, then everything is cool

I was worried it wouldn’t receive what is advertised because of other reviews, but that wasn’t the case. The package came undamaged with everything pictured. In the box came (4) 2ft long 6” wide strips of clear vinyl and the adhesive. Pretty straightforward instructions on the back of the box. We will see how it holds up and I will update further. So far, so good though. Seems to be holding well and the application process was simple enough. I had my husband hold me down while I patched the bottom of the pool wearing goggles and used a plastic scraper to ensure the edges were smooth and the air bubbles were gone.

Found a big rip about 5 inches long on the liner at the bottom of the pool. A 2" by 1" of the vinyl was actually missing. Nobody knew what happened, of course. It was losing water quickly, about an inch a day. Found this product with many reviews indicating that this actually works under water. It is a bit pricey, but if it works, it is worth the money. It comes with two rolls of transparent vinyl sheet and a can of adhesive. This kit can patch a lot of holes. I cut a piece of the vinyl several inches longer than the rip and the hole. Followed the instruction, applied the adhesive, folded the sheet and went under water. However, I had trouble reaching the bottom. I kept floating up. Finally I put my arm down as far as I could, unfolded patch and used my foot to step the patch on top of the hole and rip. I stood on the patch for a few minutes to ensure that it stayed. The patch is still there after 2 weeks. The pool is not losing water anymore. It is a bit messy handling the patch in the water. The glue got onto my fingers. I had to use Goo Gone to remove it. Should have put on a pair of disposable gloves.

This kit was perfect to repair a hole in my liner. It was clear so I can see through it but that's not a big deal. The glue bonded within seconds, and I was able to walk about nearly instantly. It was so easy to use, the size of the material left plenty in case there are other holes. Great for the cost!

I would give this 5 stars because it does do the job BUT I have a few holes to fix. Now alge grows around the patches. They won't tell you that the glue changes the chemistry in the water and turns the liner yellow after a while. ONLY around where I patched the holes. It seals great and was so pleased until I found alge, I've never had an issue with my chemicals in the pool til I patched the holes. And discoloration of the liner so next year I might have to get a new liner but I have had this pool for 10+ years so its due. But I love my pool so I'll do what I need to.

This is definitely a good product. I used it as directed and was able to repair a 2 inch rip in the bottom of my pool. It was very sticky but be mindful when the directions say “light coat” because the vinyl glue does not need much. If you put to much then you will need to wait longer for the adhesion process. Side note. I used a heat gun on low and atleast 12 inches away from the repair to help with the adhesion of the product.
