10 Assorted Turbo Hermit Crab Shells Lot 3/4"-2" size (opening 5/8"-1") Seashell

It's schockingly difficult to find good hermit crab shells, and these are wonderful. My daughter has three hermit crabs. One just finished molting and now the other two are molting. They vary in sizes so I found myself all stressed out about not having the exact right size shells when the little guys come up. This set contains one of every single size. So, no matter what size I was supposed to get, I'm covered. The quality is very nice and they came quickly. I put them all in the crabitat last night only to notice that one of the crabs had immediately moved into one of the new shells. Glitter is the pickiest of crabs about shells which leads me to believe that she knows more about crab fashion than I do. So, her eagerness to wear one of these shells must mean they're good after rejecting all the shells from petco. Now I feel confident that when Brownie and Hermet emerge they'll be able to find a shell they like no matter what their new size may be.

they are good quality, but would be nice to have more variety. Half were so small, there is no way a hermit crab could ever use them and the others were really big. Really need some in between small and medium sizes.

The shells arrived in the time frame given and none were broken. I love the colors on the shells. The reason for the 3 stars is because I was really hoping for a better variety in sizes. I have one smaller and 2 medium sized hermit crabs that I bought them for and I will only be able to use the 4 in the middle row and even then only the first 2 in that row for a while. The sizes go from itty bitty to huge. I really would have like to have some sizes between the bottom and middle row.Edited to mention that my 2 larger crabs moved into the 2 shells that were the right size within 24 hours.

My 3 hermits love these shells. I ordered these shells because we bought my son 3 hermit crabs when we went to the beach. I was thrown into a world of hermit crab care that I didnt know anything about. I realized that I needed shells so I got this assorted package of shells for them. I received them 3 days ago and my hermit crabs have already moved from their original shells into the ones I bought. They seem to enjoy their new shell and I am happy with my purchase of these shells. I would recommend buying these shells to any new or old hermit crab owner.

Great selection of shells of various sizes. The smaller shells were too small for my crabs. They are in between the middle and larger sizes, so they hop from one shell to another quite often. It's nice to let them have a variety to choose from. One of my hermit crabs made himself at him in a brown shell. The shells are also thick and heavier than the thin, light shell (from previous owner/store) that my crabs were in before moving into these after molting.

Great assortment and variety. I have 4 crabs of various sizes, recently purchased, and almost all ditched the pet store shell to go for one of these. I have like 3 shells that are large, one of which is large enough for the crab to climb into while in shell and molt inside that even. So definitely these shells will accommodate future growth. For now I just have the big ones in there for decoration.

Our crabs moved into their new shells the second day, each of them finding one they liked from this mix - we have 3 hermies. My only complaint is that two of the shells were too shallow for a crab to make a home in comfortably, and three of the shells were so small that even a brand new crab wouldn’t be able to fit in it comfortably. Half the shells are fantastic sizes, small/medium and somewhat large. The other half look like homes for small slugs. All the shells are A+ quality and I mean that. it's hard to find shells these nice, so I'm giving 5 stars. I was happy with the purchase.
