(See update)Not a good watch if you want it to tell time. The watch didn’t even come with instructions. It looks nice and all but I put the watch on and shook it up to wind it. I wore it for many hours and it still didn’t keep good time (it’s fast). When I took the watch off to go to sleep after a few hours it stopped. It’s a cheap watch and you definitely don’t get what you paid for it. Defective? Maybe or just a cheap watch living up to its low standards. (Updated: great customer service, was sent a new replacement watch -this one a battery operated one. )

I really love the look of this watch. I've gotten so many complements, and they never believe the price I paid. On the first day, I wound it up and set the date and time. The first morning i wound it a few times and thought that could be a good habit even though it is automatic. It never stopped. After a few days, the month changed from April to May and I had to change the date from 30 to 1. I pulled out the stem to the first click and tried to change the date. I twisted and twisted in both directions and it wouldn't change. I moved the stem to the second position and I could move the hour and minute hands. So I moved it back to the first position and still no movement of the date. I pushed the stem to the winding or closed position and it would click as usual for winding, but when I would try to change the date, I couldn't.Buyer beware. Looks great but did not last.

The bars that hold the straps on broke the second day of wearing it after catching it on a backpack strap. Its fairly accurate on time but the winder doesnt seem to work sometimes and will only keep time while wearing it. It will also stick once in a while and need a flick to get going again. One nice thing is the glass seems very scratch resistant and it looks very nice. Even with all the faults I like the fact it is purely mechanical and doesnt need batteries.

This watch is simple, decent in appearance and accurate.Here are my findings with the watch I received:Pros:- Easy-to-read dial (even at a glance)- Accurate for a watch of this price, with the specimen I received losing about 7 seconds every 24-hours- Movement can be manually wound (in addition to being automatically wound when worn)- The movement is acceptably quiet with no excessive rotor noiseCons:- Dial and hands are not luminous- Movement cannot be hacked (so you will not be able to easily set this watch "to-the-second" nor synchronize with other watches, not really useful for watches outside an accuracy of +/- 3 seconds)- The band is typical of inexpensive watches from China. Expect yourself lucky if you squeeze a service life beyond 3 months (considerable less with moisture/perspiration or vigorous activities).Overall, I find this a stellar value. The power reserve isn't quite the 35-40 hours typical of the (usually more expensive) mechanical/automatic watches, however it is completely reasonable for a watch in this price range and certainly usable.If you're looking for a (really really) inexpensive off-brand automatic watch that actually works well and looks decent, I believe it's safe to say that you won't find better at this price.

Ordered it because of the fact that it's a classic looking AUTOMATIC watch for 17 dollars. Arrived in 2 days, watch was well packaged and made it here without issues.First impressions - not bad at all. It was actually running when came out of the box, I guess it wound itself up in shipping. Set date and time, and so far it seems to be doing well. Back of the watch has a nice display window, edges are nicely rounded, certainly does not strike you as as sub-20 dollar piece. Has a nice domed crystal, I am not sure what it's made out of, but again, for the price, I won't complain. Watch has a date window, which is easily set as well as time (Positions 1 and 2). Watch does not have a screw down crown, and I wouldn't expect it at this price. Dial is nicely textured, and Winner winged logo is tasteful and just the right size not to be too big or obnoxious. Band is black leather-ish material, reasonably comfortable, and bends nicely. Watch itself wears well on a wrist, it's a medium sized watch in 40-42 mm range (if I'd have to guess).Let's put it this way, if this watch runs, and keep good time, I will be pleasantly surpirsed and possibly buy another. If not, it's 17 dollars, and not much lost. Will also give me a chance to review the customer service division of Winner watches. I will keep updating this review as the time goes on, but so far I am pleased.

I am returning the watch. I got it yesterday and it has stopped three times. Once over night it quit and I started it again, in two hours it had lost an hour and stopped. I got it started again and once more it quit. This time I just contacted Amazon to get a return label.The watch would not run.

This is a great watch especially for this price. Fairly waterproof and it keeps time as well as my Swiss watch….no kidding. Cheap band, but what do you expect at this price? Buy a better band. Is an automatic, but it’s reserve power is not great. Give it 10 winds a night to be sure it is running in the morning. Did I mention the watch looks great?

Very handsome watch! Good sized at 41.7mm diameter all stainless case (minus crown). I love the dial. It has a micro faceted check pattern that in different angles looks from jet black to a silky gray color! Beautiful numerals and vintage hands. Cool logo which is a propeller driven bird wing design. Good time keeper for its price. It gains about 2 minutes a week. There are 4 dial variants of this watch - two black dial and two white dial. I like these watches so much I got all four and rotate them in/out of my wear schedule. Only con is you will probably want to swap the band. It's not bad and supposedly leather but it looks and feels a bit plasticy. Overall this watch is beautifully finished and detailed and an excellent value!
