Original S.W.A.T. Men's Classic 9" Comp Toe Side Zip Work Boot

Great Boots! This will be the third pair that I have bought, in as many years. I wear them nearly every day. I bought them, needing the hard toe for offshore work. Although I am in the office most of the day, I do go out on deck frequently. Also, I wear these on my days off, at home. If you just need a casual boot for light / medium duty work, these are the boots for you. I still wear my first two pairs intermittently at home. Now, for the negative, they are definitely not waterproof (The company does make a waterproof pair). The soft thin leather will not hold up along the creases, when constantly wet, so I wear my waterproof boots when needed. Pros: Super comfortable. Easy on / off with Side Zip. Well made. Break-in time is short. Airport friendly. Cons: Some minor stitching issues on pull on tab at the back and the Velcro tab on the side.

I've worn these almost daily for about a year. I bought them mainly for their comfort and lightweight, as I have trouble finding shoes/boots that are comfortable for me. These are probably the most comfortable boots I've ever had. I originally bought these to wear for handyman work, which includes a fair amount of outdoor work in all kinds of weather. About six months ago I got a job as a construction superintendent. I'm on my feet most of the day walking through some heavy construction areas. I've put some mileage on these every day in all kinds of weather. So far they've held up great. My only issue is the price more than doubled (I want to have a new pair ready for if/when these wear out). I got my pair last year for $49 and they are now $120. Guess I got a great deal. FYI. Always pull up the zipper BEFORE you tighten the laces. I've never had a problem with the zippers.

The only drawback to these boots are: If you work in them 7 days a week for 10-12 hours a day, they won't last more than a year-Unless you replace the inner soles frequently-every two months or so. Great fit, good durability, and great price. Not AR 670-1 approved but would be a great contractor boot or Agency boot.

I walk between 2 and 6 miles a day in these most days. They do fantastic in wet weather and as long as the water isn't above the rim, your feet will stay dry. I've gone through 5 pairs of these over the last 5 years. With all the miles I put on them, they really are pretty tough

Great boots! these are my first "quality" name brand work boot. To start off I always inspect everything I buy from Amazon. These boots are well made and great quality compared to other inexpensive "wannabes". They fit as expected and don't leave much room but I added some tactical orthopedic insoles. They definitely add to the already comfortable feel of the boot but with the original insole and the new one it is snug but not uncomfortably so. That's my "two-cents" as of now. I will update after a while.

Great boot, will probably buy another pair, however I am an 11 for all my boots and they have gotten the length just right but the width of the boot was a bit roomy. I have a very normal sized foot (not narrow at all) and I found it a bit spacious in that area.

I always wear a size 13 D(M) in my boots so I ordered the same size for these. The boots are at least a half size to small, my toes are touching the front of the boot when I put them on. Also the boot is more narrow than expected and my toes felt squeezed together. The design of the boot looked great and I expect they would be comfortable if the right size. I would reorder if possible but the size I would need would be 13.5 EE and they do not make this size.

Won't wear any other work boot! Light weight, vents nicely and very comfortable for anyone who is on their feet all day.

I was originally in the Army and had the black non safety version of the SWAT boot and loved them. They were the best thing I wore for a Ruck Sack March and saved my feet exponentially. My son loved the boots too and took my older boots for his self. Loved them so much he bought a second pair and so when he got a job that needed safety boots he bought these. These boots should not have the S.W.A.T. name attached to them. The safety material in the toe protruded from the material and this made the boot quite uncomfortable. After only 1 year the boots are in the dump, they came apart at the bottom of the tongue, the material inside the zipper section broke down and came off, and one zipper pull came off. Can't recommend these boots at all, but we did order another pair of the black S.W.A.T. boots with the safety toe. SWAT got to stop making boots and relying on the name to sell them.....I've since purchased a competitor boot for only $72.99 and will give them a try, they look and feel just like a SWAT boot.

Great boots! I am considered a wide footed guy and the wide is a bit more than what I like, but still day long comfy!
