Great deal on 6 incredible…well 4…let’s be honest, vanilla n honey are great flavors n bases for additives. However other 4 flavors in the pack are spot on. They are unique and keep from getting pallet fatigue. (tho I do add a bit a salt to mine)I’ve found this brand to be the perfect ratio of chewy to dry. Doesn’t crumble, isn’t gooey, DIDN'T SEPARATE IN THE FL HEAT. Easily pulls apart along the fiber lines… almost like string cheese.Tried 6(?) different brands n this is by far my favorite in variety and texture. It’s also the most, or close to the most cost effective.The choc peanut butter ratio is surprisingly balanced. It isn’t overpowering like it is in 90% of choc/peanutbutter flavored products.Not too sweet (to me) but deff sweet enough even if you have the kind of sweet tooth that gives dentist’s nightmares like I do. I also can’t have processed sugar, makes me very sick, bariatric surgery, so discovering that this was organic and I really COULD eat all the flavors was a great day… then I got my box n it was an even better day :)Random.. but the containers they come in are super useful repurposed… hardcore leakproof n hold shape in dishwasher

I've never had halva before, nor nigella, and this seemed like a safe way to try both.In terms of texture, the first and second bites are cousin to a densely bunched bit of cotton candy, Chinese dragon beard candy, or Lucky Charms marshmallows, with some nuts. Thereafter it smooths into a nut butter-esque paste, which is a very nice mouthfeel transition and one I've really enjoyed.In terms of taste... it's only mildly sweet enough to tell you this is a sweet food and not a savory one. And that's where it gets downright *weird.*Upon eating my first bite, it tasted like the smell of something I could only identify vaguely as a salad bar at a county club. My second mouthful, I swore it reminded me of something tuna-ish, something fishy. Round and round I went, and then my fifth bite had me so confused I looked up "what does nigella taste like?" And got responses that ranged from sesame to onions - which baffled me since those are all different and distinct to my palate.So with 'onion' in mind I took another mouthful, but instead of the taste of onions I could only liken it to the way onion or everything *bagels* smell.I think this flavor combination works for some taste buds better than others. I know my sense of taste is sometimes overly sensitive to certain flavors. In my mouth, this is just very confusing - too sweet to be a savory snack, but too savory to be a sweet snack. I suspect there's something similar going on here to how some people taste soap when they eat cilantro and others don't.But I really like the texture and sweetness level, onion-fishiness aside, so I think I like halva, just not this particular flavor. And now I have a sense of how nigella can be used in cooking (savory).Honestly give it a whirl. Unless you know for certain nigella on your tongue registers at the very savory end of its flavor spectrum, you'll have a chance of either something really tasty or something really odd that's fun to experience because it's so very weird.

Not greasy and hits the spot for a yummy treat. I cut off little cubes one at a time to enjoy!

Last two shipments were either old or spoiled by some other process. And there is no returning of these items. Accordingly, I have cancelled my monthly subscription for two packages and will not be renewing.The halvah had shrunk from filling the containers and oil was present in the gaps between the container edges and the product. The taste was way off and I had to throw it all away.

I am totally hooked!Double chocolate halvah! Very good, not too sweet and no salt!!IT is smooth and I prefer to keep it in the fridge. A thin slice is plenty!I will be buying this again for sure!!
