Q: What is the gsm (grams per square meter) ? (and what happened to ask the vendor? community won't know this! The seller should!)

I just bought two of these. Out of the box I measured the weight: 911 grams at 1.58 m2 (35x70=2450 square inches) = 576 GSM. That was not what I expected. Also, they feel rough like a normal, cheaper bath sheet that you can get for about $12 each at Overstock. Definitely not the "Luxury Bath Sheet" I was expecting.

Q: What are the dimensions of this? There are 2 descriptions with different sizes.

I ordered the Champaign. They are 35 x 70. The gray ones do have a discrepancy in the size. Says one size in the top description and another in the bottom description. They are nice thick towels! Amazon need to correct that description.

Q: Quick obsorbing water? Fast drying?

It quickly absorbs water and dries as fast as any towel. Note that this towel will likely be larger than you might be used to in a bath towel, but that's a good thing.

Q: Would this towel be suitable as a beach towel?

As stated in the top of the description:"MULTIPURPOSE USE - Large size offers full-coverage in the home bathroom, and doubles as a large beach towel."However, I'd love to know what you would consider to NOT be suitable as a beach towel. I believe we're allowed to take our towels wherever we want, even Homeland Security doesn't seem to care about towels yet.
