First of all, I'd like to say how pleased I am at the quality of the sweater. It's very well made; colors are bright, the stitching is good, and the zipper is strong with a cool little pull. I really like the zip-up type sweaters and jackets for our dog. The D-rings seem secure and sturdy. Now as for the sizing, this was a little tricky. I measured my dog and she fell right at the top end of the large and the bottom end of the extra-large. Other Boston owners bought both sizes so unfortunately that wasn't helpful. For reference, my dog's chest is 21 inches, and she weighs around 20 lbs. Her back length is 16 inches from collar to base of tail. Her neck is 12 inches. I ordered the extra-large as some reported that they ran small although I had a feeling it would be too big. Yep! I had to return that one as she had way too much room. I reordered the large and I am pleased to say it's a perfect fit. I wouldn't want it any smaller, but because it has a stretchy band, it works well. You want it to be snug, but not tight if you are using the D rings for a walk. Overall, I would say the sweater runs true to size according to chart. I hope this helps.

This sweater would be perfect if the zipper didn't get stuck every single time I put it on my dog. The sweater is deceivingly warm and great on windy days. I love that it covers a bit of my dog's front legs and it fits him perfectly, which is extremely hard to find for a dog that is short, overweight and barrel chested. I wanted something with a zipper so I wouldn't have to manipulate my dog's arthritic legs as much when getting him dressed and this is honestly perfect, the zipper just needs to be better quality. The zipper guard however is a win. The zipper gets caught on itself but it has not once gotten caught in my dog's fur. I bought an XXXL and it fit my 75lb pit bull perfectly.

My 15.7 lb poodle/bishon fit very well in this size Large jacket with enough room to spare so that it's not hard to zip up. Fabric is substantial and good quality, details are exceptionally well-done, and it will work perfectly in conjunction underneath her overcoat shell which otherwise, without this sleeved jacket underneath, would leave the front of her chest and around her front legs exposed. It is perfect to keep her comfortable in our bitter WI winter weather. The only problem I had with this purchase was that it arrived 3/4 gaping open along the damaged zip closure (see image); it should have been sent in proper shipping packaging rather than just it's inadequate display package. Fortunately it didn't fall out on it's way to me. I gave it 5 stars anyway because of the jacket's quality construction.

I have bought so many sweaters and jackets for my Basenji and had to return most. She weighs 21 lbs with a deep chest and a slim belly and neck, so it's very difficult to fit her. This one is perfect! There is a little elastic on the underside that keeps it from hanging down off her belly. The neck is just snug enough to keep her from chewing on it. The back zip and the metal leash loops are very convenient. It has a light fleece lining which is perfect for chilly mountain mornings. I will be buying another for a back up. Thanks for such a great product! Finally, someone knows how to measure a dog sweater where the measurements are actually what they say. I bought a large.

This sweater fits great! It feels thick enough to be warm but still has some give in the material for the dog to move. I love the way it looks and the reflective stiching. Highly recommend!

Fits good until I zipped it up to the chest. Can’t go all the way. Too tight in the neck: chest area.

My Frenchie is 17 lbs., and it fit her very nicely. It's thick enough to keep her warm, but not too thick that I have to take it off every time we come indoors.

My pup is between two sizes and its difficult to get him something that fits properly. We got him the small as they said if in-between sizes go up and I am glad I did because I believe the XS would be too small , however it is slightly loose on him, will be good for backyard play and short walks but if he really pumped the breaks I am worried he'd be able to do the great escape.
