I wanted a new wax jacket to replace the old one I bought (from the army surplus store) over 30 years ago. After years of abuse it was time to retire it so I looked for a replacement that was affordable, had good reviews and would be a good fit. After some time looking around Amazon I decided to buy this jacket. Delivery (by Royal Mail) was tracked and promised in three days; it arrived in two. I have not had chance to wear it much yet but I am confident it will be very comfortable when I have "broken it in". In passing I would add that the best known brand of wax jackets (B_____) would cost six times as much but I doubt it would last six times as long or give six times more protection.

The zip is hard sometimes to get undone

For the value does the job; would have liked it to be (more) breathable.

Quality product, warm, waterproof great for walking the dog during the wet season! If spending two, three times the price thinks gets you a better product well carry on but this is a quality jacket at a bargain price.

Value for money is great, these jackets are fantastic quality, slightly more insulated and it would be a market winner. Highly recommend this jacket.
