I haven’t bought hankies before these so my supply of hankies (childhood gifts) needed refreshing. These are so lovely, although larger than my current lot - but I’m used to this new size now.

These are very nice hankies. I prefer a nice large COTTON hankerchief to tissues. I sometimes use my husband's white ones during allergy season, so I decided to buy some for myself. Their very pretty with a nice woven border and pretty soft colors. Their very soft on my nose and much better than my 'home made' ones from left over quilting cotton. They do need to be touched up with an iron after washing, but that's not a problem for me because my iron is always out in my sewing room.

Beautiful cotton in lovely pastel colours.I have washed these hankies and they wash beautifully in the machine.I would highly recommend these hankies as a lovely gift for a lady!

UPDATED: objective review about our customer service -when Houlife saw the original 3 star review on handkerchiefs below they got in touch and offered a refund as i wasn't happy to be doing ironing of just handkerchiefs. (life is too short for ironing) they were lovely about the review, that have not asked me to change it so my original comment about the beautiful colours, great size and need to iron stands, but i have added this about the wonderful customer service.original 3* review -having used pocket handkerchiefs in the 70s and 80s my husband an i decided to return to them as part of our eco friendly rethink. these are a lovely size and pretty set of colours BUT, unlike the set i got for my husband which after washing them they do not need ironing, these unfortunately really really need ironing, and life is too short for ironing. i have discovered since that if you smooth them out with your hands and pull out the creases and line dry rather than tumble they fold nicely without ironing.
