Excellent product. PLENTY of room to prepare a large meal for multiple people if you are hosting a larger party. Also works well for a hungry family. Very pleased with rigidity of the vessel as well. Will update as needed.

LIPAVI products are exceptional, a little more expensive then some of their competitors but well worth it. I’m glad I chose LIPAVI for my sous vide cooking adventures. The lids fit perfectly and the pre-cut hole for my Joule immersion circulator is precisely cut, all helping reduce evaporation, especially on long cooks. I bought mine to make corned beef that I cooked for 48 hours, of course there was a little evaporation, but not enough to require adding water. Excellent piece of mind for long overnight cooks.

This lid fits the Lipavi container perfectly and leaves very little opening around Joule. I got hooked on Sous Vide Cooking since purchasing Joule, but my kitchen was turning into a steam room from water evaporating from the container. I first tried covering the container with plastic wrap, which created a big pool of water on the countertop each time I opened it. Then I used a thick plastic cutting board to cover the container, which worked well for a couple of weeks until the board began to sag in the middle due to heat. That's when I finally decided to invest in this lid. The lid is made of hard plastic and cleans easily. I also love that there is an indent in the middle so you can grab the lid without getting your hands wet. It's worth every penny!

Helps hold the food racks down and trap the heat in. The lid is notched for a sous vide cooker stick. It for my Instant sous vide stick.

If you are going to sous vide for an extended amount of time, I extremely recommend using these contains with the lids. I had no visible water loss after a 24 hour cook and I even covered the container with towels. The water was so well insulated that it took over 3 hours for it to drop just 5 degrees. I actually had to remove to towels to get the water temp down from 150 to 140 in a reasonable time.

This review is probably as much about customer service as about the lid. I purchased a lid hoping it would be of use with a sous vide stick that was not on the list of compatible machines. I took a guess on one I thought would work. I was wrong. I was able to return that lid and put an email out to LIPAVI asking for the opening sizes of their available lids to try to get a better fit. I was contacted by their rep, Knut Witberg, who was extremely helpful. With measurements and pictures we were able to find the right fit. I was sent a lid to try, take pictures and then sent the lid that is working perfectly. I can't say enough good things about the customer service I received. And, I am very happy with the product. I use the container with the new lid 3-4 times each week.

The Lipavi C20 is a high-quality container for sous vide in a slightly hard-to-find shape (wider and less deep than typical containers of this size). This lid for the Joule is well made and fits both the container and the Joule perfectly. Note: If you have a Joule immersion circulator, this is the lid to buy, not the C20L-NO which also says it fits the Joule.

I have been waiting for Lipavi to release this in the UK for a few months, the only reason I have taken off a star is the price, I have been using cling film upto now but this is so much less hassle, perfect fit and does the job, love it, I always seem to have expensive hobbies!

Great product but a little flimsy once cooking is done! But keeps the evaporating water in the container so over all great!!Slow shipping but well worth it

Fits container from same manufacturer well. Lightweight, does the job. I’m always afraid it might crack because of the type of plastic but it has held up well.

Le couvercle se déforme un peu après 15 jours d'utilisation (seulement après avoir fait des cuissons de légumes à 80/90).Attention il y a une étiquette sur le produit qui averti que la loi Californienne impose d'avertir que le produit à une composition so peut engendrer des problèmes de fertilité et de malformation en cas de grossesse.Cela n'est pas dans le descriptif du produit sur le site et je dois dire que je suis inquiète.C'est super pratique j'ai jeté une fois mon dîner car mon sous vide n'avait pas été hermétique et mélangé à l'eau du coup.Je suis encore hésitante pour garder le produit, cuisant sous vide j'imagine la nourriture protégée.Cela dit ça donne un ensemble très cher 25€ le couvercle et 25€ la boîte.
