Best book on weight loss I have ever read
Absolutely the best book I’ve ever read on the struggles of weight loss and how to overcome it. I 100% believe that our thoughts manifest weight on our bodies (and many other things in our life). You can tell the author is genuine and has developed an excellent program for overcoming sabotaging thoughts. I wish I could find her meditation CD.

Interesting but didnt really cure me!
This was an interesting book and the subject is something that many people struggle with. I did find although interesting it doesnt really do what it says. It claims that by eating what you want, and there are no guidelines as to what this could be so this could be any food. By eating anything you want when you want it rather than trying to control calories which leads to the obvious cycle of feeling good when you can keep to it and guilty and depressed when you cant. Her theory is by freeing yourself from this thinking you can magically reach your optimum weight. Which really doesnt make sense or work. As if I ate everything I wanted I would be the size of a house and not just 2 stone overweight. So in summary the idea to free yourself from the feelings of guilt surrounding food I agree with, just dont think this method for controlling weight would work for anyone with an eating disorder or struggling with weight loss.

Mixed Feelings
Reading this book provides mixed feelings for me. Indeed the concept is revolutionary (especially in modern westernized medicine) and it appeals to the higher senses of the human being. The author is very genuine and I relate with her personal journey with weight and body health. The book seems directed at the "totally zen" among us. As someone who is very pragmatic, the program outlined in the book was too lofty for me. I subscribe to the "mind-body-spirit" principle, so when it comes to weight balance, there are some basic actions you have to take on the physical plane, like exercise (getting the body in motion) and eating natural foods compatible with the human body.Overall, I wholeheartedly agree with the idea of food not controlling us. I also agree with the idea of approaching the physical from a spiritual/energetic perspective. In truth, what is seen does create the unseen, so if we think a food will make us fat, then our bodies will obey our thoughts. The chapters hold great information based in quantum physics-a very sound science, but in my opinion this information is not for the average person. It's for those at a very high-vibrating level of conscious awareness who have a disciplined thought life. For the rest of the readers, it's a stretch to "think thin" and sit on the couch eating chips and ice cream.
