Within this book it covers numerous topics that are covered within the PAX exam itself. If you don’t know certain topics or have issues solving the practice questions there are website links (located at the bottom of the page) which shows step by step instructions on how to solve all the practice questions. It’s truly helpful for someone having issues practicing for the exam or who is looking to gain more of an insight on what type of questions they’ll be facing.

Just took my PAX assessment and I swear could NOT have passed without this study guide! The video explainations were sooo helpful and were a needed refresher on many math proceedures I have not used in 10+ years!! I will say there were many things on my assessment that were not in this guide, and studying science, elements and heart/lung functions is a must!!!

I recommend this book to anyone needing to pass there NLN exam, it has a lot of information that is set up for success.

I love this book, it gives the right amount of information while not being too long or saturated with material that’s unnecessary. The practice questions are similar to the test, however I would love a bit more questions, even though there are more that enough.

This really helps as a buffer or refresher for the exam! Really neat that they have videos to help/elaborate on learning. Would definitely recommend to help study for the exam!

This book was missing a lot of text on many of the right hand pages, was unable to read many of the passages and test questions. Sent an email to the publisher about this and never got a response. There is only one full length test. For the science section, it felt like some of the test questions went beyond the scope of the actual exam.This book isn't worth it and there are better test prep books such as the one created by the National League of Nursing.
