HP Compaq 6300 Pro Desktop PC - Intel Core i5-3470 3.2GHz 4GB 250GB DVDRW Windows 10 Pro (Renewed)

Fast ,quite , boots quick, great for surfing. No built in wifi but tons of usb so I put on a the cheapo Amazon usb wireless adapter and it is very quick and streams. No HDMI , there are ports I don't understand but no HDMI, VGA is very good though and I do see 4 expansion slot covers on back so an HDMI card may be addable but I have not cracked the case so I really don't know about the motherboards expandability , they are small slots though . Machine can run standing on side but CD rom won't work that way . CD falls out. Laptop type CD Rom should work fine . My Minitower has one . This HP dances all over it , for the money I'm happy and would recommend.

This is my personal computer. Delivery was fast and product was packed better than most things I've purchased from the internet. Computer, mouse and key board all wrapped in bubble wrap then secured with more wrap inside the box so it couldn't shift. I'm very pleased with the key board I received. It wasn't the cheap all plastic one with keys so small and so close to each other that if you have (old eyes) like me and miss your intended key with the one next to it. Keys on this key board are well separated and are easy to read! Would compare it to the keys on the long forgotten electric type writers. Also pleasantly surprised that they sent me a WI-Fi Net Gear adapter, which was a plus! I could have bought from two other sellers on Amazon for $10 less, but after read customer reviews about RefurbTek I thought it's worth the extra $10. Would have given it 5 Stars, but only had it couple weeks. So far so good. I'm sure it will be a 5 star purchase! I'm a big believer in refurbished computers, my last one lasted 10 years. Hats off to RefurbTek.

Computer arrived exactly as described, but with a faster CPU; I5-3570. Either CPU is as fast as the latest laptop CPUs. No problems whatsoever. What a bargain. Refurbtek has earned its high rating with this customer. Good Work.

TLDR: DO NOT BUYI bought this initially for use as part of a MAME (arcade emulator) setup. I ended up not using it for that project and the computer was stored unused in a warm, dry closet for about 9 months. Finally needed to use it for work when COVID-19 hit in March of 2020. Computer was great when I first started using it. After about 5 months of use, the thing died. A PC with a 5 month lifespan? Talk about complete garbage and a waste of $160 after taxes. I would not recommend buying this at all. Spend the money on a brand new PC with a 1 year warranty (which will most likely last 2-4 years) as opposed to a product like this which was "renewed" just enough to resell and barely survive what would have been the 90 day warranty period.

Item arrived safely, but I had to clean a lot of dust from under front cover with vacuum. Seems that refurbishing does not include cleaning.

Upon initial setup I needed a new VGA cable.. Once setup the basic section was easy and getting the stem started no problem.

I’m blown away at how nice this computer is for the price. I almost want to buy another just to have around. You really won’t be disappointed

This is NOT WiFi right out of the box! You have to buy a WiFi adapter; not included here OR already installed like the picture implies!
