Some assembly required
We love the look of this fixture in our entryway. It comes unassembled, and it really helps to have a helper while you assemble it. The round pieces hold a bunch of set screws to secure the rods. Don't be like me and open it in the middle of the kitchen. Do it over a table in case any (or in my case nearly all) of the set screws fall out. I found them, but not before suffering some anxiety (they are small). Fortunately the manufacturer included two extra set screws in the bag along with a hex key to tighten the screws. Once assembled, the light looks great. Be careful to buy LED bulbs that have a silicone base (Phillips bulbs do). I bough some LED's on Amazon that claimed to have a silicone base, but did not. If you don't have the silicone base, you risk being electrocuted when you become the ground instead of the fixture. The included chain is very long. We have high ceilings (14 ft) and ended up cutting about 2 feet off the chain. I bought this from Amazon Used, but like new. My guess is that someone opened the box and saw how much assembly was required and sent it back (everything was still in it's protective plastic. If you are having an electrician install this, be sure to assemble the lamp well before they arrive. It takes about 45 minutes to figure out and get assembled if you have a helper. It is a beautiful lamp, and exactly what we were looking for.

Good quality fixture at a reasonable price
We installed the light over the table in our family room/ dining room. I was pleased with the quality of the pieces. The orbs are metal, not chromed plastic, and everything fit as it should. Instructions were clear and in English, not some pidgin-version of English. I put it together by myself in just a few minutes. The chain was generous in length and looks nice. The fixture is designed to be hard-wired into an existing box. I didn’t have an electrical box in the ceiling, so we bought a hook, toggle bolt, an electrical plug and an in-line thumb-switch to hang the light and allow us to plug it into the wall. My husband did that part. The finished installation looks attractive, is consistent with the style of our mid-century ranch and lights up the entire side of the room. I like it very much.

Amazing Designer Steal!
Put the light up today and I LOVE it! So worth it!!!!! I got the 24” bronze and fits the space perfect. Putting it together really was simple once you figured out the basics of it- but getting started, the instructions were a headache. The biggest pain in the a$$ was the chain links though! Unlike other chandeliers I’ve had that have chains the screw open on both ends, these you had to pry open and shut and was extremely difficult. Like, I had to have my former Iowa heavyweight wrestler hubby use 2 big pliers on the ends and he even struggled with it. At least we know it will hold it!! Other than that and the basic pain of switching out lights no matter which you use, this light is the bomb!!!!! And at this price vs identical Designer orb lights at $560, total score!!!!

Super cute!
I knew there was some assembly required and it turned out to be a fun puzzle. The directions tell you to hang the fixture to the ceiling first and then put the globe together, but, I just hung it on a barstool and assembled the orb while sitting on the floor while enjoying a glass of wine! Way more fun than trying to get this out together up in the air! After that, it was a quick install and we had a beautiful light in our closet! I will mention that some of the jokes that the rods go into still had some residual pieces of metal in them preventing the rods from going all the way in. I was able to use a 1/4" round metal file to clear them out and all was OK. It's a gorgeous light for the money and it puts out great light!!

Wow! What a workout!
I started the project by myself. I have never installed a chandelier before, but after watching several of "how to" videos, I figured I could do it too! So, at 8 o'clock this morning, I decided to give it a go! Before purchasing this product, I read the reviews. Most of the reviews I read stated that the chandelier is difficult to assemble. However, as I started putting the pieces together, I thought, "wow, this is a piece of cake. " I was so wrong. When I got to putting the rods in the fixture, that's when things started to go south. I even started sweating. Lol I recommend having an extra pair of hands while assembling the fixture. The last rod I had to assemble was actually not sanded, so it would not fit in the middle piece that holds all of the rods together. So, I sanded the ends and it worked! Installing it was a pain as well. That, however, is because I am 5'0" with vaulted ceilings trying to hold this monster of a chandelier above my head on a ladder. Although I had an unintended workout, I would still buy this again! The pictures do not do it justice!

Love it!
What a perfect statement piece! I've been trying to decide on a living room chandelier for a year now and finally pulled the trigger on this one. It looks better than I expected! The directions that were included in the package were absolutely no good and unclear. And then I remembered that the company had emailed me updated directions as soon as they received my order. Lo and behold when I opened up my email out those directions were so much better and I was able to put it together very quickly. As far as mounting, I ended up just hiring an electrician so I can't really say if it was easy to mount but he seemed to do it pretty quickly lol.Overall I'm very happy with my purchase - the price on Amazon was very competitive & it seems like good quality.
