Perfect cost effective option
Had a little difficulty connecting it to my wifi but once I worked it out I could not be happier. A perfect, cost effective solution for sharing caregiver responsibilities. We are all notified of a button push, then we send a group text to let each other know who has it covered. Love it!

Needed to Return - Strong and reliable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal required - with separate domain from 5G
Wonderful concept.Mobi customer support was exceptional.Mobi Plus app was straightforward and had easy-to-follow on-screen instructions.Unfortunately, the necessary 2.4 GHz signal required for adding the hub device and emergency call button sub-device simply would not link-up to the app. I worked with the internet service provider and with Mobi customer service to ensure all settings were appropriate/correct, including splitting the dual-band 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi domain/login from the 5G domain/login service. Even though the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal was perfectly sufficient for the phone and phone app, the hub simply would not connect, and attempts indicated insufficient internet strength. Unfortunately, I had to return the unit and look for an alternate system.I do think some if not all of the issue with link-up was due to insufficient AT&T internet service/signal strength in the home where we were attempting to use the system.

App needs work to make set up instructions clearer/easier on what/how it will set up.
App needs work to make set up instructions clearer/easier on what/how it will set up. Maybe add short videos linked to clarify or just make interface clearer. Will look into adding buttons, incase patient is on the floor. Not sure if you can addition products without hub or how many items hub will support.

Works great
Bought this to use with my mom. It works great. Sound at first didn't work, but I went to my settings and turned everything up. It's quite loud now.

Good basic level alert, notification system.
With the aging baby boomer market increasing, medical alert systems are becoming more prevalent. They range in functions, range and corresponding costs. This MOBI System addresses a need for an alert mechanism where a button press will activate a notification/alert (or more defined actions dependent upon paid service options). The basic system is limited to presses of the "HELP" button. MOBI is expanding their ecosystem, including "multiple buttons, sensors & cameras for broader in home monitoring." Of course, these will entail additional purchases/costs.This basic setup includes an alert transmitter, with a large "HELP" button and a hub/base that acts as the wifi intermediary, to process the alert and act in accord with the level of service chosen (either the free mode or subscribed services). To effect the pairing and setup of the MOBI system you need to download the app and register an account. This process takes some time, but is not an arduous task. (We chose to leave out information and medical history, creating a very basic account to test out the alert system.)The basic, free service is fine for notification that the button is pressed. If the person using the system doesn't have serious physical/mental circumstances, and is in reasonably good shape, this could suffice for most instances. I hesitate to say 'emergencies' because a serious emergency might preclude being able to even pressing the button. The range of the hub/base unit and transmitter is stated as 1000 feet. However, that is open air range; Actual range will depend upon the physical environment, which will reduce that range (walls, appliances will block signals). So, you can choose a central location or decide upon a key location where the user is most vulnerable or spends most of their time. And, make sure that it is within good range of the home wifi. The free service option is limited, but free. It is fine for simple notifications. Active monitoring and attending services are offered with payment. Monthly cost is $7, or a prepaid annual cost of $60. This is a decent cost for active monitoring/actions, if your circumstances warrant. As a comparison: "On average, medical alert systems range in price from $20 to $60 per month." (Consumer Reports) It is important to compare costs and associated services, and evaluate along your needs. At the current cost of $99, including a $30 discount, it's a decent value. If the free level of service is adequate for your situation, it's worthy of serious consideration. The paid level, which you can select at any time, is still a good value when compared to competition price options.Overall, it's a competent alert, notification system. it earns a 4 star rating.

Didn’t work
This product has a great concept but it poorly designed and poorly manufactured and was unable to set up this device. I should have listened to the other reviews.

Not working
I have not been able to get this to work. When trying to return they have a restocking fee that was half the cost of the unit
