My son likes it a lot. However, we cannot turn of the hour chime. Pressing the button combination you get an audible confirmation which should toggle the hourly chime but it does not actually turn it off. The instructions do not reflect the watch layout either

This is a great watch, especially for the price. My 7 year old fell in love with the picture so I decided to check it out. A few reviews had me a little concerned but i decided to order it and I am so glad I did! The company sent me an email with a PDF file of additional instruction the day after I ordered it. It made setting up the watch super easy. So far this watch has stood up to all the abuse a 7 year old boy can muster, including keeping it on while swimming all weekend. All in all this was an excellent purchase and I would recommend it.

This watch is falsely advertised as "kid watch" for "boy girl" when it is really an adult size. As you can see in the picture, it's gigantic on my 7 year old's wrist. If we strap it on the smallest setting, there is still a huge gap. The face is nearly 2 inches across, and the band is nearly 1 inch. It's also over 1/2 inch thick in the face.It seems to function fine, but that is not helpful if you are trying to buy a small, functional watch for a child. Please change this listing.

We got this for our 10 year old son for a stocking stuffer and he loves it! He had been wearing an adjustable LEGO watch and we felt it was definitely time for him to get something a little more grown up. He loves that it can glow in the dark, lights up so he can see it even better in the dark, shows date and time, water resistant so he can leave it on and not worry about it getting wet, etc. He is feeling much more grown up with this watch. For any parent in our shoes— he is probably the thinnest kid... we have a very hard time finding pants that are long enough to fit and small enough around the waist. Even with adjustable waist pants it can be hard because they get so bunched. Anyways, if your kid is like this, you know it also is problematic for finding a watch! This watch actually fits, and has one notch smaller it could be set! It’s a win!!! Only thing I can’t report on yet is how well it will last since he just got it last week. I hope it lasts like it appears it will.
