Ordered 2x 25lb plates but only received one plate. Ordered the 10lbs set prior and those were bent and damaged upon arrival. Wouldn’t recommend which is a shame because they look awesome in pictures.

Update: I contacted customer service and they promptly apologized and shipped a pair of each weight! They arrived quickly and are very nice quality. Yes, the edges are painted, but mine are crisp. Time will tell if the paint comes off with use but for now I’m very happy.I ordered these specifically because the title says 2x. I ordered the 10lb and 25lb plates because they both said 2x and I recieved only one of each. Honestly if the price was for a pair it would be reasonable, but for a single, these are way overpriced.

These seem to be fairly standard bumper plate design -- 450mm diameter, with an opening that fits a standard OIympic bar (~2inches), though they did seem pretty snug along the bar. The weight on the plates is accurate (10lbs in this case). They've also got a skull motif on them, for that "badass look" factor.As other reviewers have mentioned: they do seem rather flexible, perhaps because of how thin they are. I dropped them (on the bar) from waist height several times and they held up well. When I dropped them from chest height they did seem to flex quite a bit (no cracking or damage, though). I didn't try higher than that out of a measure of doubt about whether they could take it or not due to the flexing.That said, I feel I should point out that it seems unlikely that you'll be dropping a bar with only 20lbs of weight on it unless you've had some sort of emergency or are being irresponsible. If stacked with other bumper plates the flexibility wouldn't be a concern and I'd have full confidence in their durability. It's only alone (and on this 10lbs size) that I have some doubts.These bumper plates seem well made and do in fact have minimal bump on the drop -- which is very important. When dropped these plates barely bounced and didn't go far at all. No going out of control and making a mess or smacking into my shins. They also didn't leave any marks or scuffs on the flooring. Just a clean minimal bump and stop.The plates do seem a bit expensive for the amount of weight you're getting, but that's likely just a part of the premium of the brand, so I won't hold it against them. All in all these seem to be good bumper plates, with my only concern being an issue that's unlikely to actually come up in the course of normal use (why would you need to use bumper plates if you're only adding 20lbs to the bar?).So if you're looking for a good bumper plate with a "badass look", here you have it.4/5PS: When you open them, they will stink. A lot. Put them somewhere they can air out for a couple of days and then the smell becomes only noticeable when you are close, much like a tire. Which makes sense, as these use vulcanized rubber.

Pros:The weights of the plates are accurate.The color coded printing on the sides and rims make for easy counting.It has a cool graphic logo.These are good for strict lifts.Cons:The metal sleeve is narrow, sticky and a little too snug when putting weights on the bar and pulling them off.Be forewarned that these plates cannot be dropped from overhead without breaking, even if you do a controlled drop.

Ever since the pandemic, I have not been back to a gym and have been working to create a gym in my garage, however one of the issues I’ve had is the set of weights I had were not made to be dropped from any height as they would most likely break. So when I saw these 2 x 25 lb Bumper Plate Weights by WOD, I thought they would be a great option to add to my gym. I couldn’t wait to receive the package and get back throwing down the bar like I used to at the gym.I received the package and inside were two 25 lb bumper plates that have a very nice skull design on them along with a green paint job on the outside of the plates. I am taking one star off of the rating solely because the paint job does not seem very well done, and it seemed to be coming off into the packaging as well. However, other than that, I have loved using these and they work just as well as any bumper plates you find at the gym. Overall I would recommend these to anyone wanting to get a good reliable pair of bumper plates, I like that they are sold as a set as well.
