If you want to work in cm, & mm this is the square for you. But is is not a 12" square, it is a 300 mm square, which is close to 12", but not 12". The point is there is not one mark on it that is in inches. So the heading on the Amazon site page is rather misleading. If one wanted to learn the metric system, it would be good (at least for me) to have inches marked, in addition to mm.

Fatta di alluminio , ma robusta e precisa, la utilizzo per fare cassetti mi aiuta perche è grande e comoda da usare la fisso con dei morsetti e mi escono gli angoli perfettamente a squadro. L'unica pecca è che le scritture sono in inchiostro e con il tempo e l'usura spariscono se erano scolpite non ce ne era una migliore.

Does what it says on the “tin” - it’s a quick square. Or rafter’s square. It is very thick material which makes it great to hold and more important hold in place whilst marking up work. The white numbering on the black makes the numbers and lines very clear and they are large enough to read without having to put my glasses on. Just one point that I may have missed in the description is that the lengths are metric only - no imperial. There is an imperial conversion table printed on the body but if you want one that does both types of measuring then you may want to look elsewhere. However for me it is perfect for how I will use it.

4,5 sterren hiervoor. De qualiteit van het product is uitstekend: de speedsquare is heel stevig en ligt stabiel en recht op het te meten oppervlak. Bovendien ligt het aangenaam in de hand tijdens het werken, vindt ik toch altijd belangrijk. De nummers zijn heel duidelijk te lezen door het wit op de zwarte achtergrond. Het geheel kan ook tegen een stootje en zal nog lang overleven. Het enigste min puntje is dat er op meer plaatsen een meetlat zou mogen geschreven staan. Dat had af en toe wel handig geweest.
