These boots are a dream and exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something I could hike in winter on muddy trails and not get my feet wet. These are perfect! Slipped into an icy river (twice!) and my feet stayed dry. Not even a speck of dampness came through the zipper. Even the bit of snow that snuck over the top of the boot warmed up quickly and I was not bothered by dampness or cold. I was also happily surprised by how supportive they are. I have high arches and most shoes don't support my feet enough. My only complaint is that they are a bit tough to get on. But a shoehorn does the trick nicely. Overall these boots fit great and look cute too!

Perfect comfort and function

Have worn these a few times lately in the middle of Kansas snow season and I absolutely love them. They are super comfortable and keep my feet nice and warm. I do wear additional insoles in them since I have bad feet, but they are still very comfortable to walk in. I bought them for a trip to Scotland later this year because of the waterproof qualities which I haven't tested much yet. They have kept dry through the snow though. They run a bit small so definitely size up. I usually wear a size 9-9 1/2 and I bought a size 10 and they fit nice and snug to my feet but not too tight.

Well...the item is what I ordered and I like the boots, but these were very clearly worn because there were long blonde hairs in the inside fur. Thanks. It took way too long for these to be delivered so I won't have time to return them for a clean pair before my trip. Hey Amazon, do you want me to return the hair, or can I just keep it?

These feel really good on right out of the box. Both comfortable & supportive. I ordered the 'sable' color which I expected to be brown/dark tan or taupe. However, I find it a rather odd color, almost burgundy. Not what I was hoping for. But it's different & since I love everything else about the boots I will keep them.

I usually wear a 5-1/2. The 6 was recommended, it was the correct choice. I have a very high arch and the right boot was a little difficult to get on, but once my foot was in, it was perfect. I find them very comfortable and easy to wear. They also look nice. We had a ton of rain last Sunday. So, on Monday I wore them knowing there would be big puddles I could check if they were waterproof. If anyone saw me they probably would think I was crazy. But they are waterproof. I walked through many a deep puddle, deep enough where it covered the bottom seam, and my feet stayed perfectly dry.

At first I was not sure about these boots, they seemed a bit tight even in wide width but they quickly became among the most comfortable boots I have. I like how I can wear them in bad weather but still look cute for casual wear.

These boots cut both of my ankles on the outside within a few hours of walking in them. And yes, the zipper is too short which makes it difficult to put on.

These boots were exactly what I was looking for, they have grippy bottoms for walking on ice. And they are warm enough for walking outside in the snow. Easy to get on with the side zipper, very comfortable and the sizing seems accurate. I am a 8 and that is the size I got. They even feel a little loose, which is good if you have to wear thicker socks. The weather has been unusually warm in Manitoba this November, so I will update when it gets colder!

Very comfy and well made. You can remove the sole lining to put your own orthesis, they are large enough for it. Not the warmest but still good for everyday use. Love Merrell shoes!
