This warranty does not cover problems caused by improper installation methods. It covers only installations done in accordance with the installation and handling instructions contained within each box of Aspect Stone backsplash panels. For a complete warranty, please contact at the address below. If a manufacturing defect does occur within the terms and conditions of this warranty (5 years from date of purchase), you will be supplied with new material to replace the defective parts, subject to inspection and approval by ACP. Love the look
We used this for a backsplash, and up one wall that had no upper cabinets. It looks awesome with our granite countertop! I love that it has just enough texture, even though it is thin. We did use added adhesive to make sure it stays put. Makes our kitchen look very upscale! Love it, but wish it were a bit more cost effective.

Turned out great! No idea why people say it is compressed ...
Turned out great! No idea why people say it is compressed cardboard - clearly they have never worked with slate before. Feels and looks as real as slate gets. Great product which worked perfectly for our travel trailer. After cleaning surfaces, I used 3m adhesive promoter (expensive but works amazingly well) and now this stone is VERY permanent.

This product is NOT ideal for a kitchen backsplash. Water marks never go away and grease splatter is impossible to remove. I should have paid to have real tile. Lesson learned.

Overal Recomendation: Not Worth the Cost
Pros: seemingly like real stone. Easy to cut and install. At one point I was cutting them with a blade.Cons: Grease changes its color. Cutting it makes the stone flake into little pieces.For the price I was hoping for more of a stonelike apeal. When you knock on it, it has a softness to it stone does not have. Also It's not cool to the touch like real stone would be. So it loses its credibility that its real stone very quick to any observer in question.Overall recommendations: unless the price goes down (I bought at 212/bx) I would NOT Recommend this product for the price.The image I posted took me two boxes which I somehow miscalculated from my original thought of only needing 1 box. So this cheap fireplace makeover for $200 quickly escalated to $500.

Great product.
These work great, did my fire place surround. Came out awesome and install was easy. Def need tin snips to cut these correctly.

Me gustó mucho.. Fácil de instalar y parece piedra. Lo único que no me gustó es que quedan las manchas de aceite.

These come in on the pricey side but I was drawn by the unique look and ease of application of this product.Alas, as I've had these for over a month, the adhesive is beginning to fail between the wall and the adhesive backer.I'll have to remove the tiles as they begin to pull away and apply industrial grade spray adhesive. That should fix the problem.Jan 2023Turns out these are garbage. The adhesive fails against semigloss surfaces. Looks like total arse now. Time to apply proper tile. Hundreds of dollars wasted. 😡
