I was overly excited to finally find a plush Franklin that wasn't horribly expensive. I get that he isn't one of the more popular characters, but I have always liked him. And honestly, I wanted a character in my office collection who looked more like the children in my program. Just as children need to see themselves reflected in children's literature, they need to see themselves reflected in other parts of their environment. So Franklin hangs out with Charlie Brown and Snoopy in my office for when kids come to visit. I have noticed a couple of them do a double take when they see him and really reflect on the character as they hold him and use him to help themselves recenter before returning to class. I even had one exclaim, "Hey, he looks like me!" Plus with him being an astronaut, the inspiration can be endless.

Used on a straw wreath wrapped with Peanuts characters fabric. The figure is resting on the bottom opening, held with a few long pins.

I purchased this from my one year old son, and he absolutely loves it. It’s a perfect size for him and everything. I’m a very happy customer.
