This is my second large display digital clock, my mother in law has dementia and failing vision, after the first clock she begged for another. She loves the clock and I believe it gives her a greater sense of control over her daily life. She has had problems over the years getting confused about the day and the time, this clock gives her greater sense of security and sense of day and night. This may sound crazy but the dementia causes her to get days and nights confused but the clocks give her a greater reference to time. The display gives her a reference during the night because the display is bright enough for her to see. I would recommend this product.

The clock is easy to read, just as pictured, and very useful. However, getting it set up was really painful. The instructions that come with it are minimal. The buttons on the back that you have to use are hard to read, so you have to use the booklet and trust that you're hitting the right spot. Most annoying for me was the fact that this nice clock, which shows a screen with day of the week, time of day, hour and minutes, and date was alternating with a screen that showed only "Now it is Wednesday morning," with no date or time. Day of the week might be helpful, but you can look out the window and see if it's afternoon or evening. I wanted it to show the date and actual time -- and to show this all the time, not just on alternating screens. Nowhere was there information on how to do this. There is a YouTube video that shows how to set other things, but not how to turn off this annoying alternating screen. Finally, by hit-and-miss, I found the way to do it. So here, for anyone else who doesn't want alternating screens, just one that stays on all the time (with the time changing once a minute, of course) is how to make it show all the information. After you've set date, time, language preference, etc., continue down past alarms that can be set to more things that are available to set, until you get to the place where you can set how long you want each of the two screens to stay on. By default, they stay on equal lengths of time and alternate. You can't set the first screen to stay on longer than 1 minute. BUT you can set the second, useless screen to stay on 0 seconds. That does it. The screen that you see in the little picture online stays on all the time. Then the clock works fine and is easy to read. But give yourself plenty of time for setting it up.Update: I have had this clock for three weeks. It has shut down totally twice, just gone dark even though it was plugged in. First time, I had to reset everything. Second time it held the information; after I unplugged and replugged it came back on with correct date, time, etc. The clock is very poorly made. I'd recommend trying one of the look-alike more expensive clocks. They have to be more dependable than this one. DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND!

Stopped working after three days

Bought this for my Mom who is retired for Mother's Day. She likes it and said having the day in big letters is helpful!

I like the design and the feature of this product!

Perfect for my mother's room at the nursing home. She loves it!

2nd one I bought for my parents. (LiVingroom and Bedroom) It's perfect!
