Great sturdy quality

Though I haven't tested their strength/weight capacity and they don't "feel" strong, I love having these. I mounted two in my laundry closet, one each above the washer and dryer. No more musty-smelling rags or towels thrown into the wash because there is a good place to hang them to dry until laundry day and I can hang my permanent press and delicates up to dry and just close the closet door when needed without having to find a spot for a clothes bar or clutter in the bathroom. When folded out completely, they come not quite out to the front edge of the washer and dryer, or they are easy to push back out of the way as needed.

Nice product for the dollars. Very easy to assemble. Took me about 10 or 15 minutes to put it together. Opens easily but it's best if you pull in the center to ensure it opens evenly. I would not suggest using the anchors and screws provided by the manufacturer. I was lucky enough to hit studs behind my drywall. If you aren't that fortunate, I suggest installing a piece of 1" x 6" pine board on the wall which is fastened to the studs. Then mount the drying rack to the 1 x 6 board. If you install the wall anchors (provided) and screws directly in drywall and then hang several wet towels, the anchors will most likely pull out of the drywall. (Just my suggestion for mounting)

The drying rack seems sturdy and opens and closes fairly easily, though there was a small dent on one bar and you do have to assemble it. The reason for the one-star review was because the wall anchors do not hold the screws. My husband bought bigger screws but that did not fix the problem. So now he has removed the wall anchors and will have to patch, paint, and start over with new hardware. It’s EXTREMELY frustrating that what should have been a quick and easy project is costing us A LOT of extra time and money to fix shoddy materials.

I got this to replace the old pull-out laundry drying rack on the back of my RV because the RV one is no longer available. I mounted it to a board, attached the board to the ladder on the back of my RV, and attached a second board behind the ladder to stabilize the whole thing. It's working pretty well. I wish it were wider because it's pretty small for my needs. It's also not as strong as I'd hoped. I can hang one load on it, but that's about it. It will do well enough until I find a larger one designed for use on an RV ladder.

I hang dry most of my clothes. I am tired of the wooden or plastic folding drying rack. I bought this for our laundry room and I love it. I'm mindful of not putting a huge amount of weight on it - just in case. But I will hang at least 3 pairs of my jeans straight from the washer along with other items. When not in use it folds against the wall. I do remember when we put it up awhile ago that the length does not fit directly on two studs. It measures just beyond so we used a wall anchor for one side and have had no problems.
