My kids actually got this for my wife for Mother's Day. She had asked for them to get her something that she could do with them. This was definitely the right choice, my wife has so much fun making amazing little pieces of Art. You can decide how much color to put on it you can decide how easy you want it to be you can decide how difficult you want it to be, everything's really up to you. The value for the money is great. This one does come with extra pieces of paper, the paper is not the best quality but it's definitely okay to learn what you're doing. Remember that when you put the paper in you just sit it in and then pick it right back up and it needs to be late on a flat surface to dry otherwise it will crinkle. After you get the hang of doing this and you've learned how to mix the colors and you really figured out how to use it, then I suggest buying a higher quality paper and using that to dip. But regardless what you do with it we had so much fun with it and all the bright colors I just don't think it could have been any more fun. And if my two little girls can do it with out help, then anybody can do it

This was easy to easy to set up, use and clean up. I used it with my grandsons (7 & 5). They loved it. The were fascinated by the paint ending up on the paper and the cool designs they created

This was a lot of fun for my kids and myself!! We really enjoyed getting creative with the colors.We did struggle a little mixing the solution. You will need to prepare ahead of time, based on the instructions, the solution needs to set overnight. We did have a successful attempt when mixing it immediately before we started adding colors. I think it depends on the temperature and how thoroughly the powder is dissolved.Either way, it was worth our time. Have fun!

Got this as a gift for my 10yr niece. she called to tell me she loved it

The tray is shallow, ok. The solution you put in the water is clumpy and super hard to mix…ok? The paper is so cheap that it is instantly torn when you lift it…dang. It doesn’t work on anything other than paper and it is almost impossible to get one completed picture that looks good. I will only use it to make magnet designs that I can isolate one cute inch at a time. Waste! Don’t buy if you are interested in trying this medium as an artist-but I guess ok if you want to waste an afternoon with a kid and make ugly art…

The kit is very fun to work with. Beautiful different Designs. Great as a Gift or just for making some pretty and different designs.Great Kit!!
