All these Mega puzzle books are wonderful!

They're not so easy that I complete quickly, but also not too hard to have to look up a lot of answers. Some clues are tough, but I've got used to some after a number of puzzles. I am enjoying this book of puzzles.

Good selection of difficulty in puzzles - recommend.

I am an avid crossword puzzle solver. These were too difficult for me to do. But for people that can figure out the New York Times puzzles this book is for you! The book is nicely formatted and should keep you going for a long time!

I love the smooth white pages with large print! The large book is comfortable to hold in my lap for working puzzles. I'm starting with the right hand pages so that there's a thick base in my lap for writing. After I'll probably tear out the perforated pages one-by-one to do the left-hand puzzles. These are quite a big harder than the USA Today Books I had been doing. I find myself having to peek at answers more but I'm learning new things in the process. Also, this book is quite large so wouldn't fit in most purses for traveling.

I love this series of crossword puzzle collections. I'm up to volume 5, and I intend to finish them all. They hit the sweet spot between dumbed-down simplicity and deliberately unsolvable esoterica. Lots of different themes, and no goofy gimmicks. I do like that a lot of the clues are puns. The perforated letter size pages are a great feature. They're big enough to read and fill in comfortably unlike the pocket puzzle books. You can work the puzzles in the books and discard them or tear them out and take them wherever it is you do crosswords.

I buy these all the time. Easy to tear out pages and large enough print.
