it worked for 10 minutes than stopped. after cooling down i tried it again and it stopped after 10 min again. perhaps it was defective. while it was working it was great. spun fast and super quite.

I used this on my Big Buddy heater. After cutting some slots it's on and stable. Puts out a lot more air than the factory fan. Best part, no more batteries to change.

I have seen these little fans on wood burning stoves before so decided to get one for myself. It does have to get a little hot for the fan to kick in but once it starts it runs until the stove cools off significantly. I was a little disappointed in the volume of air that the fan moves, thus the four stars in the heating category, however, it does gradually move the warm air throughout the room, it just takes a while. Visually, it is a very cool little item and the air movement is a plus.

It didn’t work at all

The title of this fan makes it sound like it could work on any fireplace. But after reviewing the instructions, it appears that this is really intended for a wood burning stove (not a fireplace). It might work with some gas or wood fireplaces if the mantle is positioned "just so" - but I doubt it.If you're getting this for anything but a wood burning stove, it is 1 star. It may be much higher for a wood burning stove, but we didn't have one to test it on.

This is outstanding!!!! I have purchased 5 different fan and this is off the charts. It draws heat from the small fan and the front fan pushes the heat out. I just wish I purchased 3 of these instead of my other one. I just may replace the one so I have at least 2. You will not be dissatisfied or disappointed. I love this fan!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
